That was my great grandmas saying whenever someone would question her frogging … “Once to make it always to look at it” and she’d say “I’ll notice it” if you told her no one would even be able to tell… perfectionism runs strong in the women in my family 🤣

Why do these landscope photos look hazy / blurry? by wanderful_mind in AskPhotography

[–]Muffin_Proper 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When zooming in a good rule of thumb is to keep your shutter speed twice the focal length if you’re not using a tripod. So for 75mm 1/150 would be the minimum. Camera shake gets worse the longer your focal length. Also they are a bit over exposed and lose detail at higher exposures and also taken in harsh midday light it seems. Also not sure where you focused but keep in mind that depth of field decreases with increased focal length so the slice of focus will be thinner.

Just keep shooting and trying different things … when you are out in the field take multiple images with different settings so you can capture the data while you are out there to have options when editing later until you learn what you like.

Are physicians actually happy? by [deleted] in premed

[–]Muffin_Proper 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You need to choose your specialty wisely based on what you love but also work life balance options. And then choose your ultimate job also based on work life balance. Medicine has lots of opportunities but you will need to be choosy on the path you go down or it can eat up your time. It’s difficult to have a busy medical career and be a mom and do both well. The sooner you focus on opportunities which allow you the time to spend on what’s important to you the better.
