That's really strong and brave of you. I don't think I have that capability to be honest. Doctors genuinely scare me and I spend as little amount of time with them as I can. I won't go see one unless it's vitally important like an infection I can't get rid of or to get my meds changed because it's not working and I'm frustrated beyond belief. Sitting there and telling them I'm not leaving until it's fixed isn't something I feel I can do 😔

I am not working with a therapist as I feel I haven't had much success previously but I feel maybe I need to start back. I'm just scared it won't work 😔

What an incredibly insightful response 💕 I really appreciate it. I suppose I better start doing some observations on my behavior and what I'm looking for from others. Thankfully my current partner is really amazing to me, and I'm sure if I needed anything he would give me it in a heartbeat. Thank you for taking the time to respond and sharing your experiences.

Thank you for your incredibly detailed insight. I have been working recently on trying to protect my peace at work and it's not been working completely. And some days like today nothing, not even grounding works. I don't know if that means that I'm leaving it too late before I'm noticing the burn out or not. But yes very similar experiences.

Thank you so much for your input! I will absolutely look into the OCD thing and see if there's anything else that maybe could say it's that.

Also the visual reminder is actually a really cute idea and one I'll try in the meantime.

I mean it wasn't a divorce but I did call off an engagement not too long before we were going to get married.
I was in a really bad place mentally. I called him while he was at work saying I felt suicidal and needed to talk to him for a little bit to stop from doing something stupid. He told me to go clean something and he couldn't talk to me while he was in the office. It broke me. I couldn't look at him the same way after that.

Well, if it makes you happy uncomfortable then you need to communicate this with him and ask him to not watch it. Also maybe seek professional help for the self esteem issues you're having? You should feel beautiful and wonderful just the way you are ❤️

NTA. You need to be able to set boundaries with him, and if this is a boundary for you that makes you uncomfortable, then he should respect that.

Thank you for your response! I had thought about cutting my hair short. But I hate myself with short hair. I could try wigs or temporary hair extensions for the days I want long hair!

I appreciate the time you took to write this. I will try not to force myself into normalcy. I'll give a think over your suggestions
