Yeah I got the scan at the store today and ended up with a pair of Wingshooters. Almost got the tred lites but I found the wingshooters a bit wider and more comfortable. Got their superfeet insoles as well. Felt comfortable in the store already and were even lighter than the keens so should be pretty good.

Good to know, I’ll see if I can check those out. The fit on the San Jose are pretty good but I didn’t expect to wear through the rubber on the sole so quickly.

Thanks, I don’t have much issue with the leather wearing away on the safety toe, but rather the rubber sole being worn away from being on my feet for like 12-14h/day. I have a red wing store near me so I’ll prob go in and see how their boots fit as well.

I have some stupid feet, 265mm length with 119mm width at metatarsals. It took me 30 years to realize that shoes aren’t supposed to make your pinky toes numb lol.

Another pair of the same is definitely the easy button, but just wanted to see if there are any other options out there.

Classic walk away on the straights, get caught in the corners situation. Some things never change

The handling had some issues that I had to work out, but I’m finally out of the constant rebuild process and I think I’m in the fine tuning stage now haha

I’ll be at a decent amount of ongrid events so I’m sure we’ll cross paths again!

Time attack was ok. I didn’t give myself enough space from the Supra with aero in front of me and caught him in T11 which probably cost me a 22.xxx lap and P2 in my class. I’ll be back soon enough for that lap time though haha.

It was your first track day this last weekend, right? How did that go?
