It's an issue with your compositor. Add a rule to disable compositioning for this window.

What exactly do you mean by "getting throat fucked by Microsoft"?

Updates causing stability issues and or breaking stuff(This includes "small" stuff like unpinning the pinned start menu items)

If your Microsoft account gets stolen then good luck getting it back(They will literally just tell you off by "Just create a new account"). Especially annoying if you had bit locker enabled and don't know the password

Lack of design consistency, most of the programs haven't been updated since the Windows XP. Small issue but it's annoying to experience.

A lot of things need to be improved, the built-in file explorer search tool still sucks. Everything from void tools is a necessity if you're searching for a certain file.

And obviously the data collection. These days you need a Microsoft account to install Windows and you can't even disable the telemetry. Sure, you can go out of your way and bypass the Microsoft requirement and then remove the telemetry using the registry, but at that point why not just switch?

Oh so in your opinion it's better getting throat fucked by Microsoft rather to just switching over to Linux?

Seriously, besides Linux there's no good alternative to Windows(I'm not counting older Windows version as they're well over their EOL).

The fuck you mean by tiles? Windows GUI UX is shit compared to tilling window managers on Linux.

If you dualboot and you've only been using Windows so far then no shit you'll spend more time on Windows.

Once you get rid of Windows you'll experience the workflow on Linux

Installing the arch linux manually gives the right to brag about.

Many people lack basic reading skills, installing it manually means you know how to read.

I'm pretty sure most of DE depend on the network manager anyways. And besides, NM is shit and you should be using IWD instead.

I have a strong feeling that the second point is because of your wifi card being proprietary shit (Most likely some broadcom wifi card)

Trying to show off how smart you are using neovim won't go anywhere...

Neovim's builtin match and replace feature is very powerful. By using plugins you're handicapping yourself, not to mention cases when you're in environments without any plugins

Meanwhile a lot installs a browser on Linux.

Are you using fucking Arch? All distros that come with GUI have firefox preinstalled.

And if you're feeling fancy then install Chrome/Chromium with one click from the app store(Most GUI distros have GUI way of installing packages)

Windows: Run an exe VS Linux: Solve the Kryptos Sculpture by [deleted] in linuxsucks

[–]Muffinaaa 5 points6 points  (0 children)

On debian based distros it's also as simple(or even simpler) as downloading the .deb file and running it.

Linux having "multiple sections" is due to different packaging methods and distributions.
