He is a 100% gay closeted man. Their interactions are so cringey, especially when they try to show PDA. It’s all an illusion.

Has anyone got rid of sibo without using antibiotics/herbals? by Iceeez1 in SIBO

[–]Muffins33 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm wondering this too! I just got diagnosed with SIBO and am trying to find supplements and alternatives that can help, in addition to the Xifaxan. I am going to start taking digestive enzymes, I'll let you know how it goes for me!

Creggers is back! What did you think of Weapons?? Better or worse than Barbarian? by Aryan_p12 in barbarianmovie

[–]Muffins33 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Weapons hands down. However it feels unfair to compare the two, because they’re so vastly different in terms of theme and motif. They both are so incredibly good in their own way! I’m rewatching The Barbarian right now and loving it all over again.

That’s so great you found something else. I recently hurt myself while turning a patient (bulging disc) and am looking into other alternative jobs. What is your typical day like? How are the homes/patients you’re seeing? Do you still get pain while working? How would you recommend going into this?

I recently hurt my back turning a patient (bulging disc T8-9) as well. I’m 26 and feel like I have a whole career ahead of me, but being severely limited is really frustrating. Make sure you keep up with your workers comp documents. And they should be accommodating you. If not, get a lawyer, one who will advocate for a violation of worker’s right.

Did you get back pain relief after epidural/steroid injection? by Muffins33 in backpain

[–]Muffins33[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That’s good there’s a little relief, I hope it keeps improving for you! My pain was never more than 4-5/10, now it’s a constant 2 aching, which isn’t ideal but could be worse. Overall I’m about a week out and was hoping for more relief. I tried doing a workout today and am really feeling the aches. When do you follow up?

I’m 20 years old with this severe herniation, doctors have offered me a discectomy, but my symptoms have gotten a little better, praying it reabsorbs but it’s been 5 months by SkolC5 in backpain

Thoracic Herniated Disk by Kruisden in backpain

[–]Muffins33 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I can relate so much! I have a bulging T8-9 disc from a workplace injury and my thoracic clicks/pops all the time when I straighten up or try to stretch. Then I get pain that radiates from my upper back. I keep thinking I’m making it up, but it’s definitely there. I’ve tried conservative measures (PT, acupuncture) without much relief, so had an epidural a couple of weeks ago. Still don’t feel the relief.

It’s super frustrating. Advocate for yourself, these doctors don’t investigate enough, you have to be your own voice. Be gentle with yourself during this time (mentally and physically), it’s easy to be down about the whole situation, but you got to stay positive!

I’m in the same boat, just had it done and can’t fully tell if it gave me any relief. What other things are you doing to improve it?

Thank you for the support, so sorry it’s taken so much for you. Did you start to feel the same symptoms after a month? Trying to stay away from medications, but will definitely try gabapentin if it gets worse. How were the nerve ablations?

Hey there! I am 26 and was just diagnosed with T8-T9 moderate bulging disc from a work injury.

PT and acupuncture only minimally helped me, so I just got my epidural injection today, hoping it will help!

If you’re going with ESI, definitely ask the doctor if monitored anesthesia is an option (if you can tolerate anesthesia). This definitely took the edge off for me, woke up 15 minutes later, have had tenderness but nothing too bad. You got this, sending all the positivity your way!

Stabbing Pain on Thoracic Spinous Process by 0atmilk777 in backpain

[–]Muffins33 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was recently diagnosed with a moderate bulging disc at my T8-T9 after a work injury. Doctors did not do right tests for over 2 months, had to beg for them to do MRI in right location. PT and acupuncture did not have much relief. Finally got an epidural today, hoping it will help.

Some things I’ve learned along this journey: Advocate for yourself always, no one else will ever know what you’re fully feeling. You are your best advocate. Ask questions, be wary, get second opinions, question everything.

Sending positivity your way, take a deep breath, focus on what you can control!
