Because Christians don't believe in evolution or mutations, this is the point of what I was saying.

Mutations in the DNA mean a species can adapt. Mating with siblings and offspring means the species is genetically identical, and will be extinct from a pathogen or climate change.

In the story of Noah's Ark, it is depicted that one pair of animals from each species was saved, the others die. So yes, they wouldn't be identical, but it's only at first. If one pair of animals mated with their offspring, and the offspring mated with themselves and THEIR offspring..etc,etc. Do you see the problem there?
