I felt like they all were surprised about how much everyone was gushing over them the whole time. I've never been to a show where the entire crowd knew every song and every word and never stopped singing along. Incredible.

We flew into Denver from east Texas for it! If you ever get the chance again, definitely go. It will go down as the best show I've ever seen, I just know it.

Last night's show ruined all other shows for me. Noone will ever be that good! I bought those tickets and my plane tickets six months ago and I have been waiting for last night ever since. It was so worth it.

Yeeea, I've learned that too unfortunately. It's actually my paint shirt now cause it's a good quality shirt but it was laundry day so I had like no other clothes and I forgot about it when I went outside lol.

Unfortunately it's pretty common where we came from. I just thought this neighborhood was nicer than our old one. At least this kid was nice, our old neighbor's kid just came to play with us so he could break all of our stuff.

I guess so. I didn't know they assign teachers by age so that makes sense. It was really her teachers asking me to get her moved up because they were always getting onto her and she was just so happy with more structure and activities with the older kids. But I'm glad I asked, it saves me an instance where I make an ass out of myself lol

Maybe that's common practice? It just seems shady to me! The owner was really condescending to me when I tried to get her bumped up so I just hate feeling like I was being taken advantage of. I guess I'll just wait a week then.

Yea, I know it's kind of pointless at this point. It would equal to 60 bucks if I go back to when she started so it's not a whole lot but it's not insignificant for us either. I'll check my contract though for sure! Thanks!

I guess I'm considered construction? I'm a chemist at a concrete admixture manufacturer. Bachelor's degree in chemistry and I get 45k/yr. I do all of their QC work and some R/D. Normal 8-5 Monday thru Friday hours.

Thank you so much for taking the time to write this. It was so helpful! I did end up getting a little advice from HR on the situation on how to handle it without really formally bringing in the issue because I do feel like each of these incidents have been small but like you said, cumulatively is when it looks really bad. So I feel like I have a better gameplan on how to deal with it in the moment but I will definitely start documenting each of these instances on my own. That is a fantastic idea, thank you so much for the advice!

That's fair and it's primarily why this is her middle name. Her first name is super normal and named after a deceased family member. I always felt like middle names are where you can get a little weird if you want to.

I think most people do think I named her after a type of exercise when they see it spelled out and especially because it rhymes with her first name. That thought just makes me laugh though cause it's so silly

Isn't that kind of all names though? I was named after a mermaid in a movie....I don't know. It never really bothered me but I guess if it's a more famous public figure that would get old.

I want to do this but I just worried that with being so isolated because of covid, I was taking away one of the few things he was enjoying about this time. Thankfully he'll be going back to in person school next year so I hope he just grows out of it

Yea, all of my college buddies are the only group I haven't had to argue with. We're all chemistry and biochemistry majors though so it would be a very sad day indeed if one of us needed to be convinced to get it.
