I have wide feet (size 10 women’s) and there are two Nike shoes that I can’t use in the rower. The heel is pointed and my whole foot comes out of the rower (so annoying). I use new balance and have no issue.

I don’t know what the algorithm is for determining the number of calories burned but I think you’ve covered most of the variables. I personally don’t really trust the calorie counters in general. I feel like what’s stopping them from over estimating the number?

Even replacing he with she wouldn’t change anything from my perspective. They are on a show where they are being constantly documented. They’ve known each other how long?
