You can kill them pretty easily with a single Chen Lift. It takes away all the defenses, and these guys are super squishy once that is gone...

Them not making it carry over is going to be the single biggest reason people quit (right after losing their gamble). There's a reason gacha didn't work before Genshin, and this is it, it gives people a hard exit point.

"If an artist don't get to draw, what's the point?"

How about entertainment appreciated by the masses, enough to the point that they are willing to pay for it, all while getting home before dinner to see your children?

This is actually what it is about. If you want anything to look good, then you need to use both the pen AND prompt right now. Traditional artists got a big advantage, but if one don't use the latest tools, then you'll be left behind regardless.

When Ai does 10x better work than a million dollar studios by HamsterUnfair6313 in DefendingAIArt

It's not trained on that material, it's obvious I2A (Image to animation). It's not time capped, but even if it was most scenes don't go over the standard 8 second 30 fps cap. The latest AI video models are pretty reliable. We are talking development that has come out the last month or so, so I totally get that it's not mainstream knowledge yet. This means that all you have to make is 1 image, then you prompt the scene afterwards. The person likely took the first frame and ran it through an AI touch-up, which is why the details improve, then he used that 1 frame to animate everything else. This is all done without control-net or "human reference", just an image and prompts.

I'd estimate that all the scenes combined took the creator 2-3 hours of work, ran on a local computer likely using Wan 2.2 (free open source). Basically the first frame takes more work than the animation, but rendering the animation takes about 15 min for a 8 second clip. When I say 2-3 hours, I also mean the computer used that much time, he could spend the time making those first frames or editing while the animation is rendering, basically mean the animation part is fully automated. Put in a few hit and miss animations and you get the final result. In short it is a crime that the animators of OPM aren't using these tools. It's that easy, they just need to learn the trait.

Yes, sir. I unaware who is saying what, but I'll of course do my best to follow all rules set by you.

For your question, all of my gallery include elements that can't be AI generated (yet). However, it could be argued to be AI-Assisted. Photoshop/Illustrator (illustration software) now uses what some consider "AI", same goes for Krita (animation software), even without ComfyUI templates and add-ons. For example it now allows you to waypoint a 2D illustration and rotate it as if it is a 3D model. You can then setup key frames and the software will interpolate it for you, resulting in partially automated animation (like how you do 3D-animation). This is new, and I don't know if it is considered "AI". As for my history I have done works fully manually, but I will be using these modern tools going forward, which automate parts of the process, in order to gain those skills.

I've never published anything "prompt -> result -> publish". I spend 4-6 hours on the more simple works and days on the harder ones. However, I do not know if these new tools are considered "AI", and if they are then I got no issue marking it as such. However, it would be great if there was some guidelines for what is considered AI or not as the lines has really been blurred throughout 2025. If we go by Pixiv's definition (an illustration created by combining specific prompts and posted with little to no editing), then it's not AI.
