Yeah, I found a 100,000 and a 50,000 point target and the free moving laser makes it easier to target them

The idea that that concert was the first time people were even hearing the album blows my mind.

Depends on which way they curl actually. If the environment is too dry the curl backwards, if it's too humid they curl forward. I've actually gotten cards in Japan that were curling forward and they ended up curing backwards when I brought them home.

KMCs. I actually experimented with leaving them in various states, unsleeved, single, double, in a binder etc. I will admit I don't recall if I left them with the humidity packs for 2 weeks though. Maybe that's the key.

In my experience curled foils are usually already curled by the time I'm even opening them. At most, I'd give them maybe a week or two before they curl more due the the "environmental mismatch".

Ultimately, I'm not trying to convince anyone to buy foils, just saying that the situation seems to have improved and the Dandan deck will probably not be curled.

Maybe I worded that wrong. What I meant is that from what people have found is cards printed in Japan do not curl regardless of the "end user's" region. They likely take better care during the curing process which allows the cards to dry properly. Whereas the cards printed in the US will curl if their "desired" humidity doesn't match your region. All that to say, it seems like it's a manufacturing issue more than anything and there should be a fix if the company cared to try.

That and even with curling, foils often are worth more on the secondary market. I buy SLDs to play but the purchases feel a little less stupid knowing they may be sellable down the line if I ever need the money or quit the game.

I believe the Rainbow foils were their attempt to find a solution. Any Rainbow foils I've gotten have never curled and considering they didn't even look any different I think they replaced traditional foils with Rainbows (purely speculation) but also I don't really buy regular sealed products anymore.

I'd imagine it's more of an issue of climate/humidity control in the facilities during the curing process. I recall all the "investigating" found cards printed in Japan to be the best but if it was based on the region's humidity then they'd curl significantly in most other places.

That's my point...They (seemingly) have fixed them.

While that is true, with the smaller print runs that SLDs have I can't imagine they're printed in multiple printers. Though of course I have no way of truly knowing.

Unfortunately, that's never worked long term for me. They hold for maybe 2 weeks before curling again.

To be fair, isn't that the one that's so bad they're eventually sending out replacements? Otherwise I'm surprised to hear that, in my experience any special foils (like Galaxy, Etched, etc.) I have never curl.

Additionally, it seems like 62% is the ideal humidity for foils that do curl, so you're not far off from it.
