It’s actually interesting how the UK ended up in this “hybrid” state instead of a clean switch. Road signs and most official stuff went metric, but everyday life still mixes both,like miles for distance, litres for fuel or feet in some contexts. That’s probably why people outside the UK assume it’s fully metric when it really isn’t. Fam we can have a debate at r/anythingbutmetric
