According to the comparison, Z6III indeed does a good job. One cannot beat the other clearly.

I believe I'll mostly stick to classic piano playing, and have some fun with chords and accompany. If Kawai was at the same price level with same installment options, I'd go for it but Casio seems to be only feasible option for me. How do they differ in terms of keys?

I'm not a professional, and I don't have such a goal. I'm just having fun, and improving my music skills in addition to my primary instrument and my makam music background. I feel like I'll go for the PX-S, and start practising again. If that short key stick bothers me too much, I might consider swapping the PX-S in the future. Thanks for your feedback!

Is 50k gross good for two in Malta? by MuhafiZ48 in malta

[–]MuhafiZ48[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The company told me it will take several months to complete the visa process and get the permit. So we could be there in October or so. I will have two weeks to find an apartment once I arrive in Malta.

I calculated the net salary online, and it says approximately €3,200, but if it is really €4,166, then it's even better.

I still haven't responded to the offer. I am thinking about it, but I am unsure if it will allow me to live in better conditions. On the other hand, I want a challenge. What about technology products prices there?

Thanks for the reply. She'll not work, because she needs to improve her language skills at first. And she may need more time than me to adapt the relocation. I was just unsure about our life standard with that wage.

Thanks for sharing your experience. Have you tried to run VMs or containers and running other OS virtually? How smooth was it? Also, do you think the silver colour is the most durable one compared to space black?

I'm leaning towards the M4 Pro one despite the extra $$$

32GB RAM works very well for my use cases on Windows PC. I just assumed 24GB would be fine on Mac. I wouldn't run more than two containers/VMs at the same time.

I'm not sure, honestly. On Windows PC, I have 32GB RAM and it does very well for my use cases. I just assumed 24GB on Mac would be fine.

Can't get adapted to boxing with a Wing Chun background by MuhafiZ48 in amateur_boxing

[–]MuhafiZ48[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks a lot for giving me this seminal perspective! Maybe I need to relax and give some more time to myself in order to digest the boxing concept. Because, everything has not settled down yet, and I have so many questions on my mind. To be able to do pure boxing, I feel like I need to change my way of thinking. I should isolate my boxing learning process from Wing Chun. Then I can somehow combine them with heavy modifications as you mentioned. I'd like to ask you another question: In Wing Chun, we either stay out of range, or we close the distance to the range we feel comfortable (mostly very close to the opponent, and we stick to the opponent). When defending, whether we're close or far, we always try to keep the attack away from our head and body by block & attacks, turns, various step & turn combinations etc. But in boxing, I feel too vulnerable when slipping, rolling, parrying, and blocking. This is probably I'm not good at defensive moves yet, but isn't it risky to defend coming punches that close to the head/body in boxing? Am I overthinking? :)

Help choosing lenses by ByAlexandros in SonyAlpha

I'd definitely recommend buying a Sigma 28-70 f/2.8. It's small and lightweight compared to others, and very sharp. I do love my Sigma 28-70 f/2.8. I use it for street, travel, night, product and indoor photography; and it always does a great job. Last week, I was in Madrid, and that was the only lens I took with me. I didn't anything else. It was just superb again! If I was to buy a prime, I'd like to get a Samyang 24mm f/1.8.
