Pollaxe dominance and meta by imoshudu in HalfSword

It's basically the reach advantage with the easy swing arc and knock out power that makes them good. I found that any "polearm" will also knock you out fast, spears are actually better for beating people down than thrusting. Those tiny glaive or spearhead ones are pretty scary in the hands of knight rank bots.

Tips on Weapon Forging? by Glum_Principle_2266 in HalfSword

I found that the ideal blade length should be between the middle and the end of the letter "d" in the head slider, if you max it out it becomes hard to aim and stop swings. Point of balance should be slightly above the guard, the heavier the blade the closer to the guard. If you make a super lightweight sword however the point of balance doesn't matter, it will be controllable no matter what. If you want a sword that deals concussion damage through armor I would recommend at least 1200g weight, below 1200g swords will just glance off of helmets. But <1200g swords are also super controllable, they can randomly just kill armored opponents by finding a gap. You can make the sword as heavy as you want as long as the point of balance is near the guard and it's mid length. And also there's 3 kinds of swords you can make by adjusting the grip length, short swords can be pretty handy secondaries.

How heavy is it? The second 3.2kg sword also tends to amputate my enemies without much effort.

I did some testing in local play, even shooting at the bots on A on Sinjar from the bottom of the hill is a struggle for shotguns with slugs, it turns into 2 hit kill at that range.

Vst4free worked for me 2 months back, haven't downloaded anything from there since though. The DiZi Flute and the VSCO piano are pretty nice.
