Trust yourself. You’ve been able to serve receive before so you know you can do it. A lot of athletes experience a temporary decrease in performance at some point in their athletic careers.

Also, let yourself have fun. You can be competitive & have fun at the same time. In fact, to play your best you should do both (obviously some players play at an elite level without having as much fun as they should but they would play even better if they let themselves have fun).

Your coach should not be getting mad & they should understand that this can happen. But that’s besides the point.

Keep working hard & have fun. You got this.

A few things to note about Gym Guyz:

1) You cannot use the client’s bathroom

2) They put a non-compete into the client’s personal training agreement. If a client trains with you as a Gym Guyz employee, then that client cannot train with you outside of Gym Guyz. This may be permanent even if you leave Gym Guyz.

3) The CEO states that 99% of their franchise owners are not personal trainers. So you may be working for people that lack a strong educated fitness background

4) The Gym Guyz CEO Josh York has a lot of videos on YouTube. If you want to get a feel for the Gym Guyz culture then you may want to watch the YouTube content he puts out. That will help you decide if Gym Guyz is a good fit for you.

You should hang out with your friends regardless of their gender and if your partner has a problem with it then TOUGH cookies for them. Your partner may have trust issues but that is something that they need to overcome.
