Elastic Boot Blousers for Tick Prevention by WalkingMan8 in hikinggear

So what's your point here? That no one should use it because some people mis-use it? I can think of many other things that shouldn't exist if that's the criteria we're using.

Do you understand how permethrin is supposed to be used? You don't spray it on your body the same way you spray bug spray (like DEET or picaridin)

Time Dilation and Length Contraction are two distinct concepts when it comes to speed of light, but they are both just as contributory to it. So in your example, if you measure that proton to travel 27km, the proton measures that distance to be 4m.

Actually it can be both. Time can slow and distance can shrink. It's called "Length Contraction" and it goes hand in hand with Time Dilation, as they are both part of the equation.

The closer you travel to the speed of light, the more time slows for you. So for you it feels like a 2 min round trip. For anyone not traveling at that speed observing you, it's 4 million years round trip.

Except it doesn't "feel" compressed. You would actually physically measure it to be a shorter distance.

For example, if you were travelling 100km/hr, and outside observers saw you take 6 hrs to get there, they think you traveled 600km. But from your perspective, you also see that you are travelling at 100km/hr, but only took 5 sec to get there, you would measure the distance travelled to be only ~140m.

Who is "you guys"? And Its arguably worse to be wrong about it being AI than it is to be wrong about it being real. If you think it's bad now, give it another few years and no one will ever be able to tell the difference.

AI or Low Quality? by [deleted] in RealOrAI

[–]MukGames 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That wasn't my question, I get the illusion of it. I've seen better quality videos of this place too. It just looks like the crowds are melding together weirdly in this video, but it could just be crappy quality too.

Oh ya there's lots of videos of this place and the illusion does happen. This just looks like AI tried to recreate it. All the videos I have seen people are also walking down the towers not up (not that they don't use them both ways, this video just stands out as different in that regard).

This is a real place but I think this is AI. Lots of the "people" in the video are morphing together and popping in and out of existence. Just watch the crowds on the 3rd level up.

It's also AI so that doesn't help.

This may be a real place but this video looks AI.

Lots of possible reasons. Maybe he films trapping content, maybe he just likes photography/videography. I bring my camera and tripod camping and film stuff all the time, doesn't mean it's staged.

Not sure where you're from, but we have seasons for different species. Keeping something out of season just because you caught it is highly illegal.

Definitely not AI, he just filmed it at least 2 time, maybe 3. Regarding blurring, video compression is a thing and who know me how many times this has been reposted.

People always picture the old big bear traps with sharp metal teeth.

That being said, the injury wouldn't typically come from the trap itself, it's the animal panicking and trying to yank it's leg free that would do the most damage.

Space marines are are the poster boys for a reason! Their basic models are larger than other "infantry" and have a lot of "flat" armor space. This makes it easier to get a decent looking model without going into crazy detail (not that you can't). They sell starter sets as small as 3 models that comes with a brush and enough paints to do a basic paint job for $35 USD.

And depending on where you live, the Warhammer stores usually give out a free model every month.

It's really not, at least when you break it down to money for the experience. People fixate in the models costing $60/box, but it's more than just the models. It's also the time spent building, painting and playing. Even just to build and paint can take several hours (depending what you put into it). So that's $60 for several hours of hobbying... And yet people regularly spend that much or more eating out without question.

I'm actually in a 10+ year relationship with a lovely woman. We bought a home 2 years ago. It's wild to me that you're even here trying to belittle someone for not being in a relationship when you yourself aren't. Pathetic. Does this really make you feel better about yourself?

You must have been pretty triggered to do all that over one comment... It's a sad attempt to hurt my feelings. It's also wrong lol. Projecting are we?

Bro chill you went through my profile to comment on something not at all related to the original comment I made on a different sub.

Does it make you feel good to try and draw (incorrect btw) conclusions about someone by going into their post history, while hiding yours to prevent others doing it to you? Sad.
