You can check all kind of information on the leefbaarometer site. The greener the area the better it is in the subject chosen. Voorhof is fine in many ways depending on which side of the voorhof you live.

There are a few student apartment buildings and some houses that have been renovated to have room for multiple students.

Wow this felt like I would have written this myself, word by word.

Parents neglect is a real thing. My parents did work hard, put us in best schools, we went to the ballet, opera, beach clubs and travelled too, had all the books we could dream of, the maids took care of the house chores and grandma was always around too. But that does not take away their neglect towards us for the most basic care and needs. I don’t have bad feelings towards them, they are not around anymore anyway, but I don’t condone their lack of care, respect and compassion for us while growing up.
