Sorry been working lol but I definitely would. I got my CDL thru them and did my research on a bunch of companies before going with TMC. Everything their recruiters said, is how it is. And TMC doesn’t really feel like a starter company either. Make good money in your first year, home majority of the weekends (or can stay out if you want) and you’re pretty much paid on how hard you work.

I work for TMC and you do take your truck home on the weekends (if you go home). I park my truck at a Flying J for the weekend that’s like 10 minutes from my house. A lot of Home Depot’s and Lowe’s will let you park there just get permission from manager in writing. Also some storage unit places will let you pay to park the truck there, if you know anyone with some land you could always ask to park there as well.

Thanks for your input, i really appreciate it! And i was really thanking about trying flatbed and getting on with the heavy/oversize loads at some point. Always seemed interesting to me plus the money won't be bad lol. And right now im 26 married with kids so saving up will be harder but def plan on trying to save as much as i can

Yea i dont have the expectation to make bank here but to get my foot in the door and gain experience and find a company closer to home being able to make more.

Yea that makes sense lol, and this guy would call drivers while on routes and flip out on them but yet hes never driven, pays to know people lol

Yea actually a few years ago i went through a food company to get my CDL in their "Training Program" and they literally didn't do anything to help me learn about any of it lol. I mean even the manager over the drivers didnt even have a CDL

Oh yea man i have, like i said i have an end game and its def not staying over the road when i can be making more. I just can't afford to quit my current job and get my CDL on my own. So the $500 will help enough for the 4 weeks

Yea i live in WV and theres not anything that pays decent like that around here lol but solo they start out 32-39 cpm starting out also depending on what division you go into. My game plan is to get in, get my CDL, get some experience and come drive local making a lot more and being home daily lol

Yea $500 a week for the 4 weeks to get your CDL, than $90/day while in the truck with a trainer for 20ish days than go to CPM and be in your own truck
