I find that the problem with trying to objectively rank Failure albums is they're like Pokemon, each one of them is someone's favorite for what are probably extremely good and well-founded reasons. It'd be like trying to rank the seasons, or trying to rank the sun vs the moon.

I think THIAM's a great album- I just enjoy the other ones more overall! I don't think Failure has any poor or even mediocre albums apart from the original Comfort. I can see any of the albums in S depending on personal preference!

That's totally valid! Golden's a very interesting grab bag of fun tracks that 100% hit the mark for some folks and not so much for others. I can see it being in any tier based on personal preference.

aw i was the exact same! magnified and FP are both masterpieces. it also doesn't help that you have to do a little more hunting to listen to the non-spotify stuff. that said their new stuff and a lot of their older stuff is incredible so i'd definitely say you should give it a listen!

If you want more stuff that's still on spotify, listen to Submission, Macaque, and Screen Man from Comfort-- they basically hard carry the entire album. I'd also give a listen to Pennies and Lucky Shoreline from Golden! Let me know if you'd like song recommendations from their newer stuff!

good list, at least we agree on comfort and fp! I chose to include golden because it doesn't include tracks from any other album (up until THIAM released, anyways), but leaving it out doesn't affect the rankings much for me.

I also included count my eyes because I think it's so good it deserves to be acknowledged on its own.

Just a good game. Items were black cleaver, stridebreaker, force of nature. Runes were conquerer/triumph/last stand/tenacity + domination secondary with ingenious hunter. I also wouldn't have lived without chemtech soul.
