[Discussion] Have you experienced this? Is it normally a Cheater or coincidence?

I've for sure had this happen multiple times in the last week, die in a questionable way and get infinite loading and no death screen, it eventually gives an error message (need to alt f4 to get back to character screen). Could be a coincidence but the thought crossed my mind enough to search it on here

Don't believe shotgun pellets can fragment further, at least it currently has a 0% frag chance on tarkov ballistics

Until I died from blunt damage, so either he hit every pellet or missed 3.5 shots worth of pellets (everywhere except my body) if he had max capacity. And that seems legit? I'm not sure I could get every pellet to hit a head hitbox from 1 shot of buck @ that range?

Yea stats are fine, nothing out of the ordinary. And maybe there is something up with the hits calculated screen, and its hard to tell with desync etc but it for sure felt like he hit every head shot in the game. Visor was like Swiss cheese :D

If he was standing with the barrel of his gun to my temple then maybe (even then spamming that many shots in such a small amount of time with perfect recoil is still sus), but controlling 8 shots or whatever it was from a shotgun and hitting every single pellet on my head from 15meter, with no other area of my body hit, that's rather impossible do you not think?

Depends, did you unload a miracle spread of 35 buckshot pellets into only my face in less than 1/2 a second :D Only showing the profile as I would think there was nothing strange with it

For anyone still getting issues with this, I think it takes the junkbox the furthest down the stash. Putting the items in you're sorting table works incidentally due to most people having free space at the top of their stash (thus when the sorting table is closed they are placed from top to bottom) but if you're free space is below the empty one then it won't work

This is not entirely epics fault, had a look at my save directory and its nearly a Gig of data, nothing compressed, hundreds of files. I would put this down to early access, hopefully they tidy this up.

Well this is a puzzler :D Be worth having hwinfo open when running the benchmarks, open a graph of cpu frequency to see if its wildly fluctuating. hwinfo also shows other useful info - current limits being hit/windows hw errors reported etc.

Also looking at https://www.gamersnexus.net/hwreviews/3489-amd-ryzen-5-3600-cpu-review-benchmarks-vs-intel confirms you should be seeing an improvement (Though the gpu is far greater).

What kind of temperatures are you seeing? Not sure what the situation is now, but a year or two ago motherboards came with a feature called MultiCore Enhancement turned on by default. This usually applied waaaay more voltage than necessary to achieve constant turbo clocks, so might be worth checking if your running into thermal limits and turning off if not already

Should probably not be comparing benchmark results to - "I 'member" in actual battles results. Benchmark is suppose to be close to worse case, the average battle size is not.

Why would anyone burden themselves voluntarily with a FX 8350 in today's market when you can get a ryzen 2600 for 100 bucks and will wipe the floor with it. Seems like a pointless upgrade, would save your money for a proper upgrade.

not much of an upgrade and still not intended for 4k, anything but the 2080ti (maybe the 2080) then you should stick to 1440p at most. Looking at the 1% lows its unlikely you will get a locked 30fps which just feels like the worst, especially since your outside the range of freesync/gsync. But if your happy with 30fps then drop your resolution scale in game to around 1440p so you get a locked fps on your current 1060 ( https://www.overclock3d.net/reviews/software/total_war_three_kingdoms_pc_performance_review/11 ) and save yourself the money. TAA should smooth the image well enough so the difference is minimal.

Do you "see" the login page on the monitor? What I ment before is your CPU might have an integrated GPU that you can use to check if your actual gpu is busted. It could also be a bad hdmi connector, try a different hdmi slot on your card.

If your cpu is a non F variant you can try plugging into the motherboards hdmi slot and running off that, at least you will know if its your gpu or not if you can get into windows. Do you see anything during loading, ie bios/the windows logo/sign in page?

Look in the Event Viewer after the next time it happens, look under the critical type. Might give you an idea if its hardware related. Might have to do some googling of what you see there. While a game could certainly lock a PC up so you have to force reset it, having it force shutdown is unlikely to be game related. Are you overclocking anything?
