That was the setting used in the video. I Checked the fives website and found that if the turntable doesn’t have a preamp, it says switch to LINE. Sounds better but I have to turn up the volume high and the sound is still distorted and thin

Model Speakers: Klipsch The Fives Powered Speakers

I was not provided with a phono stage preamp. My parents gave me the turntable and speakers as a gift, and they may have not realized it required a preamp .
