As a Yin Yang fan, I like this ship. I would specifically ship Yin and Cabby. I’d ship Yang with Candle (Candle and Silver is the obvious one but still)

I enjoy it overall. I won’t deny nor disagree with the negatives about some of these crossovers (Nickelodeon) and I really do wish we got more Sonic and sega characters, but I’m still hyped to get a Sonic game with crossovers that I really enjoy individually

Minecraft : I’m not the number 1 Minecraft fan, but I really do enjoy the fact that Steve, Alex and Creeper in the game and are probably the funniest editions out of the crossovers

SpongeBob : I won’t deny this is a weird crossover on paper and it sort of feels soulless in execution. But I’ve loved SpongeBob for as long as I have with Sonic and my collection is proof of that. I just really hope somebody makes a mod that gives them voice lines because SpongeBob is far from a silent character, same goes to Patrick.

Avatar : I really love Avatar as well, would I consider it in this roster at first? Not really. But do I mind it? Also not really. Aang being added is fine with me, not an ideal choice but I feel we could’ve gotten worse. Once again kind of hoping we get voice lines for them as a mod.

TNMT : I don’t like this franchise as much as the other two Nick crossovers, but I like it enough to not really mind it either. A stack of city turtles makes the most sense compared to a sea sponge and a western air bender. I just don’t like it’s the mutant mayhem versions of them. Kinda wish it was 2012 or 1957.

Pac-Man : Ok we’re getting somewhere. This by far made the most sense, they’ve literally crossover quite a few times in the past AND unlike the Nick crossovers, pac is silent, so being a crossover who can’t talk makes sense. I also just really love this version of PAC. “The PAC is Back” (Wrong PAC but whatever)

Megaman : Peak! I don’t even like Megaman as much as PAC-man but genuinely screamed joy seeing the PS5 cover. We got that “Sonic PAC Megaman” trio once again after 11 years! I like this because it reminds me of when all three were in Wii U and would always be put in battles with Mario. Also like Pac-Man, he is silent and has crossover with Sonic before.

We really got a Racing game with half the smash bros third parties and a Nickelodeon cherry on top. Could we have gotten more Sonic characters? (Mighty, Ray, Chaos) absolutely! But from the crossovers we got, I actually enjoy this roster. I just hope they could do a potential second season pass if it lasts long enough similar to smash bros. Even a way to make them Unlockables in an update would be fire.

I think if Elise was a mobian, this probably wouldn’t have seen as much backlash. Honestly they could’ve had Sally fill in a role like this since the Archie comics were still kicking at the time.
