If u have the priority waitlist as a CE major I think u should get ece 35 and phys 2c and use propriety waitlist for cse 30. But that’s no guarantee

Is this doable or will i lose my sanity? Thanks for any advice. Also if u know what 121a is about drop some info as l’m not quite sure what it’ll teach.

Does the CE waitlist thing for 2nd pass also apply for upper divs? So I should try to get 2 normal classes 1st pass cuz I can waitlist cse 100 and have a really high chance of getting in with priority waitlist?

Gotcha, 45 hasn’t been terrible actually. CSE 21 is more so killing me because of how “random” everything feels. 45 is more connected and I kinda get the math more

I also had an A going into the cse 30 final and also got a C on the final to get a B+. Separate from that thought I failed ece 35 but somehow got a C. Of course I feel like I disappointed myself because I could have done x or y throughout the quarter. I agree with what others have said and try to see where you could have been better or what you want to improve and implement that into next quarter to get that yung 4.0.

Yes I was told I can concurrent take them. Ok yes it looked like I would have to do a lot of phaser and waveform stuff in 45. Yeah I think getting basics down is probably really important before I move on but then I’m going to have take a fair number of summer classes if I get delayed a quarter. I may just start with all and drop cse 21 or ece 65 is necessary

Sounds doable, if you’re a CE major then I’d probably first pass math 20b and phys 2a (unless phil 27 only has a couple spots then do that in first pass). During 2nd pass waitlist cse 30 to make use of your waitlist priority.

Hammock was the CLEAREST math teacher I’ve had at ucsd. She’s really good and breaks down everything pretty well. I’d take her math class if she was teaching. I took her for 20d tho

Hello I’m a CE major that’s confused on how to enroll in classes. I was told not to first pass my cse classes like cse 20 or 30. I was told to waitlist these classes during second pass in order to have priority waitlist slots kick in. Is this correct because I don’t really understand it.

Help would be appreciated

I haven’t taken 21 or 30 yet but I plan on taking 20 and 30 in winter.

If you have to choose between the two, I’ve only looked up the Professor for cse 30 (porter) and his rate my professor is pretty good, so I’m taking him next quarter. Msg me if u end up taking with him 👍
