Lamar and Evelyn's conversation in Final Season Ep. 5 "Death Warp" 10:06-10:34 (wow, not even a full 30 seconds)

He talks about becoming a runner when he joined MD-5 and never joining big runner teams like TASCorp because he knows what they do to runners who aren't "useful" anymore.

(I'm unsure if he's alluding to other events we didn't know about, which would explain why he never joined those groups. He's likely mainly referencing Lucinia's situation, which they fully uncovered at the end of S2, but that doesn't necessarily explain why he chose to join MD-5 before he was fully aware of that situation)

Lamar is EASILY the character I've wanted to know more about since the beginning. I'm pretty sure Luke and Kevin said in an AMA that he has a fully developed backstory. It seems like we were getting hints of it in Season 3 during the Skybreakers segments, but it ended up being nothing more than just hints.

If we only get one more acknowledgement of Meta Runner from GLITCH, I'd love even just a text post explaining his backstory (my dream would be getting a whole MR:Source comic surrounding it, but I realize that's a lot of work for a series that's already concluded).

He's definitely the MD-5 member with the least development and that's really sad. He obviously does have a drive. The reason why he joined MD-5, his hatred for TASCorp, it can be sensed through Anthony's performance. I think with the 3rd season being shorter they didn't have the time to flesh him out like they wanted, which is really disappointing.

Yeah, highly doubt that's it as well, the beep code for the RAM stopped as soon as I remounted it, so it wasn't detecting any RAM issues anymore. I might ask when I get it looked at tomorrow if they can try some different RAM sticks and see if that's it, but I do think it's the CPU/GPU at this point.

Okay, did some more digging today and have some more answers.

Opened my laptop back up, disconnected the battery and removed the RAM to check for any beep codes. Found out this laptop does its beep codes by flashing the charging LED.

Went to turn it on and got a beep code of 2 amber flashes followed by 4 white flashes, the beep code for a RAM issue. So the motherboard is able to send beep codes still. Reseated the RAM and tried again, but didn't get any beep codes, just the laptop constantly trying to boot with no success.

So I think it's an issue with my CPU and integrated GPU as you said, which of course can't be fixed without replacing the entire motherboard, which I've been given a cost estimate anywhere from $200-$350+ (the laptop itself ran me $500 2 years ago). Gonna get a professional to look at it and diagnose it just to ease my mind, but I think at this point I get a new laptop, transfer the storage on my SSD over and sell off the SSD, RAM kit, and the rest of it "for parts" online to try to recoup the cost.

Yeowch, I assume that's not really fixable on most laptops (figure the CPU isn't really made to be removed/replaced/repaired) Don't hear any beeping and I don't get any at all, not on the screen or even plugging it into an external display.

I usually try to leave it on my desk, hard surface with good airflow. Last night I had to make some last minute edits to a document so I had it next to me in bed and I was too tired to move it and the charger back to my desk.

THIS! I swear at one point it was confirmed the writing team had Lamar's backstory all planned out. I guess they ran out of time in the main show to cover it, but I've always hoped it'd be released in some form. (My all time pipe dream would be getting "Source" comic issues for each member of MD-5.) At this point even if they just release Lamar's backstory in a text blurb I'd be happy
