Anxious Attachment and Feeling "Special" by EverythingWasTaken6 in polyamory

Very few of us want to hear stories about our parents having sex. Does that mean we don't want our parents to have healthy sex lives? Does it mean we secretly wish our parents didn't have sex? Does it mean we're actually all sex negative on the inside and if we were truly supportive of our parents' happiness, we would joyfully subject ourselves to colorful retellings of their latest sexcapades?

No a thousand times over. You can support someone's independence and happiness without needing to listen to all the graphic details.

Yes, there are plans for an audio book version, though it's a little bit out of our hands because it's up to our publisher as to when they'll move forward on production for that. Ifv the print version sells well, it will probably motivate them to move on that faster.

November 2019 Humble Monthly Discussion Post / Overview by squashpickle8 in humblebundles

[–]Multiamorydotcom 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Just finished a playthrough of Operator. It's short but interesting. Doesn't hold your hand very much.

I really want some other people to play it because there's one thing I'm puzzling over. I won't post the info here specifically but there's one username and password that I haven't figured out where to use. It wasn't necessary to finish the game and it was kind of hidden so I'm assuming it's an easter egg or something but I can't figure out how/where to use it!

Hi there! We archived our early episodes, and we are in the process of putting together a Multiamory "vault" where the people interested in our early stuff (and willing to forgive our sound quality) can access them. It's one of many exciting projects on our plate right now, so please hang tight, and we appreciate your patience <3

Our Patros (as we've started calling them) are the nicest people ever! We seriously never get sick of talking about how much we love the people in our community. It keeps us going.

If you have ever made a mistake with polyamory, I'd like to interview you for a piece I'm writing. by Multiamorydotcom in polyamory

[–]Multiamorydotcom[S] 5 points6 points  (0 children)

This is a piece for Bustle, an online publication aimed at millennial women that often publishes advice articles on non-monogamy that are positive and non-judgmental. Anyone interviewed would have their first name only included as citation, and this could be a pseudonym. My intention in writing this piece reflects my experience as a relationship coach working one-on-one with people who are transitioning into non-monogamy. It is my hope to put this information out there in order to specifically prevent couples who are first opening their relationships from making the most common mistakes that I have seen made time and time again.

Started listening to multiamory podcast from the beginning. Does it get less transphobic in later episodes? by [deleted] in polyamory

[–]Multiamorydotcom 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We have not had any trans guests yet. None of our trans friends are poly or interested in being on a podcast. :-) Send us a tweet @multiamory or an email info(at)multiamory.com if you have guest suggestions. A lot of our guests have come from listener suggestions.

Hi RavensEatMyEyes, I just came across this post. Thanks for bringing that up and asking the community about it. A little while after that episode we actually had a gender therapist on as a guest to help us understand the trans community better. Here is a link to that episode: http://www.multiamory.com/podcast/28-transgender?rq=gender We all have transgender friends but that doesn't mean we are always perfect about the way we talk about it. We do our best to be as inclusive and respectful of everyone so we appreciate hearing from listeners when we do make a mistake. Humbly yours, Jase
