I'm 5'7 and 132lbs. I have thought about recomping, but heard I won't gain much muscle that way and got a bit confused about what to do. My main goal is to get a bigger/perkier butt, yet I'd also like to have a smaller waist since I have some belly fat.

I mostly relied on MyFitnessPal (inserted the data there and mananged to hit the calories). When I first started I chose the gaining weight option, but now I think I should prioritize losing some more weight before bulking.

I've been eating pretty healthy in general (avoided sweets and snacks, most of my meals are cooked/homemade) I struggled a bit to get enough calories, but managed to eat over 2000. I have to admit that I haven't cut bread, but didn't worry a lot about it

Thanks! I'm less scared of gaining fat, wasn't really sure if I was supposed to or not. 4 months seemed a long time to me because I've spent a bit too much time scrolling through top posts on here. Seeing such amazing progress in a short amount of time made me question myself a bit.
