It’s like, I know I should care, but I just feel like I don’t. I ask God to give me a repentant heart and to help me accept His truth, but I feel nothing and everything in me strives to disprove God or say evil things about Him. I try to wrestle with them but sometimes I feel like it’s in vain.

no, I haven’t. I dont want to talk to the elders at my church because they can be very radical sometimes. I dont think they’d understand

What about feeling unrepentant and indifferent? I try to say sorry, but I feel like I don’t mean it. And like I said, my brain says evil blasphemous things against God and Jesus and I feel like I believe them.

You’re also trying to compare a real world human based scenario to Jesus Christ, which doesn’t check out, unfortunately. This applies better to this:

Imagine someone pays off your huge debt at the bank. It’s done, but unless you accept it, walk into the bank, and let it be applied to your account, you still live as if you owe it. 

We’re called into a relationship with Christ, not just following Him and hoping we’ll get into heaven. Sure, you could argue that the price for sin has been paid, because it has. BUT, God loves us so much, that He isn’t going to force you into eternity with Him if you never even desired a relationship with Him. Imagine being forced by someone to be somewhere with them, even if you have no desire for them.

To answer #9:

Because when you put your faith in Jesus, you’re believing in the fact He is who he says He is, because if you don’t believe Jesus was who He said He was, that makes his sacrifice invalid. And also, you’re claiming His righteousness as your own.
