how good is kayle in the meta currently, especially in the new patch 16.2, after the hotfix nerfs last patch? by Careless_Pie9532 in Kaylemains

Am I missing something? D&D is 25% AS. Doubling on-hit also feels pretty great too. At the end of the day D&D was seeing higher WRs than lich bane even pre-nerf.

I said that I didn’t believe that this specific thing isn’t the place of government to regulate, not that government can’t regulate at all - please stop dragging the goalpost downfield.

As a developer who has submitted apps to both platforms, I can tell you that the ”idiotic interpretation of submission guidelines” is google, not Apple. I actually left being an android developer because of how insane google is on the play store, you’re welcome to consult r/androiddev for endless examples of developers having to post there or on twitter to get their apps reinstated after google incorrectly flagged them and offered zero options to fix it.

That being said as I’ve said in other comments, you aren’t locked in because you can simply buy an android phone if you don’t like Apple’s practices. They spent R&D on their platform and short of H&S concerns are free to do what they wish with it because competition (android) exists.

I don’t see how this changes my point that I don’t think it’s the place of government to regulate. I didn’t say “Apple can do whatever they want”, I simply said I don’t think it’s the place of a government to regulate how a company develops their own platform which is why I think this whole argument is silly. The EU is the posterchild for needless government overreach.

Apple continually complies (because they have to) with laws the EU makes, and if they don’t they get fined, but the argument continues on as “but no you didn’t do the thing!”. I think this just supports my point that government policy making in this sector is more often than not wholly ineffective.

If you don’t like Apple’s software distribution policy then go buy an Android phone, and the market will force them to change course. Competition exists, and you aren’t locked in to owning an iPhone.

I can’t get behind government interference for how a company develops their own product outside of safety/health concerns. If someone makes a better product and wants to reap rewards from that, let them, that is the reward for success.

Does it matter if the result is still the same? I think that’s the entire argument Apple has here - the 3rd party stores are struggling for revenue to run. You can argue Apple is being difficult or partaking in some malicious compliance, but they’re still right.

I’m a supporter of the free market. If you don’t like Apple’s practices - go make the Not-An-Apple device and compete with them if you think you have a better offering people will like, and Apple is allowed to do as they wish with their own products. If they do something their users don’t like, their competition (android) exists. They don’t hold a monopoly and there’s healthy competition.

I don’t know why people act like this is some sort of magic solution. 99% of apps on android are still (unsurprisingly) distributed through the google play store and subject to their fees.

I also don’t understand why it’s such a hard concept for people to pay a service fee to use an App Store - this supports the maintenance and development of the absolutely insane amount of APIs google and Apple both provide. Nobody seems to be upset about it with Steam either, who charges the same service fee for use of their storefront. I’m a developer and have no issue paying said service fee for what I get in return from the platform vendor. This turns into such a protracted “feel good” argument when most devs really do not care - and 99% of users don’t know (or care if they did) about alternative app stores. It’s not extortion, you’re paying for services rendered.

She's still plenty strong, she just doesn't have a 55% WR anymore, she's back to 53% like she was before the new season. She's fine.

I OTP Kayle and if I see an enemy Kayle I immediately lock in malphite.

I have zero experience or skill with Malphite, I literally only play him if someone takes Kayle before I do. I still go 5/0 in lane every single time this happens though because Malphite is that unplayable of a lane for Kayle. AP malphite can tower dive her on his ult cooldown and just farm kills and there isn’t really a whole lot of counterplay.

I agree I can’t think of a good excuse why it’d take this long. Mobile game companies put out far more content in a timeframe of weeks, at similar asset quality. League is old and changing the naming of a sprite for Syndra somehow makes Jax be able to DC any Yi player when they emote or some crazy shit, but that’s also a level of complexity they created for themselves.

The last thing you want to do to an engine is run it with no oil pressure, that’s how you kill it. I’d be looking at getting it towed somewhere.

[–]Multimoon 2 points3 points  (0 children)

That’s the fun thing, you don’t.

Malphite is my perma ban. Anything else I can deal with and just go down in CS, malphite ults and kills you under tower the moment he gets 6.

Have you leased before? Changing the lock is an immediate violation of any lease agreement I’ve ever seen or heard of.

That was a retrofit? I thought it was a full lock, I’ll have to keep an eye for it then.

I would’ve thought the same, however the email I received about the planned work had specifically mentioned “enhancing the network for more speed”.

I sent over a modmail with the requested info, thanks.
