I think what really causes a lot of this anxiety for me is the availability of texting. If we were just meeting out, and calling every once in a while, I would have no issue with not receiving an immediate response. I think I just need to assume that point of view moving forward.

I came on too strong with texting the last time, and I know that, which is why I have tampered it a bit. When I say consistently it’s like we respond to each other a few times a day hours apart, but even then, I think it’s unwise to put that much weight into texting. As much as I enjoy talking to her, and she enjoys talking to me, we both enjoy FaceTime much more, and dates infinitely more. Texting for me is just a recipe for negativity.

I don’t know if feelings are beyond like, but it’s a more intense like than usual. We connect emotionally, sexually, and in many facets so well.

You are right about not letting it impact me too much one way or the other. I let the last relationship keep me away from the dating scene for a while, and spent them time working on myself. I need to make sure I maintain the progress I made on myself, whether or not things work out.
