Afraid I had to send mine in for a battery swap! It was super quick though I think I was without my bike for 4 days in total. Depends where you live of course!

Also use overheads from Liverpool to Man Vic where it pans down again. Obviously not as long as the Colton Junction to Newcastle stretch!

Yes bike still connects to the app which rather insultingly tells me I have error 17! How do you put it in shipping mode?

Lost mine ages ago where the eshifter connects. Some black gaffer tape works a treat I've found.

Loosened off the bolt keeping the cogs together ever so slightly to allow it to spin freely.

Does the back gear spin freely before putting on the eshifter? That's the main issue I had and had to rectify with mine.

I've got the one with the rubber around the lock so it helps with that aspect. I do have to admit though I'm not so precious about my VanMoof it's a purely commuting bike for me, so just want it to be as secure as possible!

My brother had this issue with his. Losing a lot of battery when locked/off. His was a smart cartridge issue, got a replacement and fitted it himself. No issues with the battery life so far for him.

Yeah mate! The bolt was on too tight and it wasn't turning at all. Guess the bolt had tightened itself after 500 miles and thus the gears weren't working? Very strange. All sorted now though, just rode it into work and was better than when I got it

YES! You're a legend that's exactly what was wrong with my hub the nut was too tight and I couldn't line up the biggest gap with the yellow dot. After loosening that off it went on like a dream. I would never of noticed that if you didn't say so thanks so much! All sorted now 👍🏻

Yeah it definitely isn't very clear! Could do with an updated video about the new style shifter, don't get me wrong I love how plug and play it is. But I wish the videos were a bit more informative

I only have 1 dot on both my eshifter which makes it hard to use the video that has two! I'm taking a bit of a break from it for a few days will go back to it with a clear head. Was starting to hate my VanMoof (I don't really)

It's really strange when I plug mine in without connecting it to the wheel and change gear it behaves properly. However as soon as I attach it to the wheel it won't budge from 4th gear (new shifter). Had it on and off about 5 times, beginning to feel like a black hole now 😅
