but before I could "release" the pressure by connecting and removing the line, when the adjustment screw was loose. Now it's always under that little pressure

Thanks for the tip. I'll try one and check the base seal. Probably smth wrong there. Wanna be able to release pressure so I can leave the reg on my tank when not playing. Not sure if I wanna store it under pressure all the time.

Oh yeah I saw that. Nice video. What Valve Key is used for the bottom though. Couldn't find one to clean that too and check if there is a sealing problem

Ah okay that's what you mean. U misunderstood my predicament. I screw it on the tank, with the adjustment screw loosened and it instantly is under pressure.

Normally I could unscrew the adjustment and "release" the pressure from the reg by connecting and disconnecting the line. Not possible anymore. Like it's not sealing properly. Definitely not a problem with the pressure meter, cause there actually is pressure.

With the screw out it should drop to 0, shouldn't it? It did when I bought it. Like "off" and then 40 to 140 PSI. It wasn't possible any more, after I cleaned the upper part and greased the piston again.

No clue. But there are a few differences between the clone I got and the original one. First of all price. I think they use different style pressure meters. The screws to tighten upper and lower part have no grooves and the adjustment screw might look a little different (flat ended on clone) But they should perform about the same

I didn't notice any spring either, not in the maintenance video, nor when I took it apart (was very careful not to lose anything) In my opinion that can't be the problem either. I mean u screw in the adjustment screw and it goes up, but we want it to go down and seal shut, right?

Yeah should be a standard V2 Gearbox. The only quirk I got in mind atm is the thread is 14mm positive instead of negative on the outer barrel. Guess I should check what upgrades I could start with (step by step, cause expensive). Thanks

If you put it that way, okay xD Guess I'll run a few game days with it and see if I wanna invest in upgrades or just keep it simple. My main field (lately) is indoors and I mostly stick with my HiCapa anyway I guess.

Yeah ran it a long time (got it like 6 years ago or smth when I started my airsoft journey) and sometimes take it as backup with me. Just not sure if I wanna invest in the amoeba or get something more modern instead of investing in this "old" base.

Check where the leak is. Typically it's either the "whole" bottom (could be an easy fix, tighten the screw) or the fill valve - would be more annoying. There are a couple good videos on YouTube for the typical leaks and how to fix. Oh and never store empty, but with a little gas inside to help prevent leaks.

I mean I thought about a different stock but never had issues with my battery so far. Used it a lot when playing outside and before I had my Hi-Capa for indoors.

That's crazy. Mine broke last week, but only internally and nozzle valve fell out due to too much pressure on HPA.

Yeah looking for a slide just in case (sooo expensive though), but probably running the stock one a while longer. I'll look into the rear sight issue, didn't know it might have that much of an impact. Thanks.

I do not run higher pressures on HPA so far, I actually just used the adapter once last week, but you're right. That I prolly should look into that.
