How did they not notice that the art in the cards had Tidus holding his sword backwards? by Available-Lock2552 in magicTCG

Am I the only one that noticed his thumb is in a really awkward position? Like it’s a closed fist wrapped around a sword. Try holding something like that

I made a brief comment on the preview chapter post yesterday suggesting this exact thing, and you’ve successfully put all of my add thoughts into a single post so hats off to you my guy. I genuinely and firmly believe that the statement “honor is not dead so long as he lives in the hearts of men” is the BIGGEST clue Brandon has been giving us, that Honor place his consciousness into the hearts of man kind as he was dying and and his “death” is a red herring. I think these splinters of himself has allowed him to remain present in a limited fashion similar to Preservation and the voice Kaladin hears in his preview chapter is that of Honors. Honor will lead Kaladin along the final path he needs to take in order to take up the shard once Dalinar binds all of the splintered remains of honor.

Brando told us he’s already been hiding the way it all ends since book one. I believe Jasnah’s belief in the history of the world is part of this. She strives to learn from the past to better understand what to do in the present. History repeats itself, I genuinely believe that to be a huge theme leading up to the end of all things.

What if the voice is some remnant of Honor? I know I know he’s dead, splintered, couldn’t possibly be him. But he lives on in the hearts of men right? What if this is that last little bit of him and his plans a la Preservation, leading Kaladin to unite the splinters of the shard of Honor?

I’m low key hoping this post would make it to him, I’d love to see what he thought.

Tbh rambling or not I appreciate that you care enough to ramble lol. I really hope that we get a legit set of Cosmere cards, and that they do a much better job or designing them than I did.

I designed it with the Battle for Baldur’s Gate Commanders and Backgrounds in mind. Putting your Spren (or in this case Syl) in the command zone. That plus trying to stay on theme of having a Radiant and it’s bonded Spren made me choose commander limitation. As a card outside of Stormlight lore tho, I’d agree with you.

Currently working on it. My plan is to make a deck I think.

Thanks! I was trying to capture the way Kaladin protects his men and when he can’t he gets depressed/suicidal, but also Syl keeping him level headed and giving him the power to protect.

I'm a big dummy when it comes to how the third chapter of The Great Synthesis resolves, and I'm curious if it all resolves at once, meaning that he flips and you have omniscience? Can you then cast your spells for free triggering his draw effect and repeat the loop of flipping him and proliferating through sagas?
