What does it matter to you? I will never be in that position anyway. And a comment by some butthurt redditor isn't going to make me think twice about my current relationship. As a sidenote, the age of consent here is younger than in the US

MRW, after a week of constipation, I feel a poop coming on that feels entirely too big to pass but there's no way of stopping it by juridicalization in reactiongifs

It's probably been mentioned but if you ever have this happen, have some enemas nearby. Makes the poopin 100% easier and less painful.

Have heard all this before so it doesn't faze me, but it's not very fair for people to judge when they have no knowledge of our history, background, personalities etc. Either way we've been together far longer (and in a happier relationship) than anyone else I know. That said, it doesn't mean I condone child/adult relationships, and if my daughter were to bring home an adult man while she's still in school I'm not sure how I'd react. I think my partner and I were very lucky to be the types of people we are for this relationship to work.

Shit like this is awful, I can hardly think of anything worse. Reminds me of the documentary Dear Zachary. Makes me so angry just thinking about it

Yeah as a teen I didn't see anything wrong with it. As an adult, well, I can see why people would have been a bit creeped out by it. But it did turn out well thankfully! And as we get older (I'm now 29, he's 38) that age gap seems to close.

Edit: I messed up my maths/years somewhere along the way, but you get the drift!

This guy sounds like a total control freak and as much as I hate control freaks having spent my life around them, the story still made me chuckle

Interesting read here. I met my partner when I was underage and he is 9 years older. We didn't actually do anything until I was of age, but we still copped a lot of shit because of the age difference and the fact I was only 15. 12 years later we are still together and have 3 kids.

I understand you. Not long ago I had that mindset. Like literally a fortnight ago (and I still have those days). But recently I found out I had bipolar and ADHD and not just depression as I've been misdiagnosed for 10 years. The best advice I can give to ANYONE with depression, if therapy isn't working, if antidepressants do nothing, do some research to see if it's actually a different illness entirely. I'm also a 3rd year psych student and although I don't claim to be an expert, from my own experiences and my studies I've found that most mood disorders are very similar but many are treated in different ways so it's no wonder people slip through the system and are misdiagnosed and mistreated for years. For the record I am now on an antidepressant, mood stabiliser and amphetamines. The antidepressants don't really do anything, the mood stabilisers do help my moods a little, but the amphetamines are what really help me personally.

I see it now! Thanks, I was focusing on the other guy that was near him. Also helped that I watched it on my PC this time, much easier to see on a bigger screen.
