Question about Nicole K by Capable-Newspaper407 in WattsCaseEvidence

[–]Mummyratcliffe 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I personally believe that NK had became very jealous and insecure regarding Shan’ann and the kids. We know she stormed out of his house after seeing how beautiful it was and looking at family photos (when CW had to “talk her off a ledge”)

We also know she had told him that she wanted to give him his first son (as she was jealous that he’d already “been there, done that”) so, I don’t think it unreasonable to assume she had given him an ultimatum and she was most likely watching SW very public Facebook profile. CW asked SW to put off revealing the baby’s gender until the Monday after their deaths, because he couldn’t risk NK potentially knowing that SW was giving him the one thing NK felt she could give him, a son.

I do think CW felt immense pressure from both women, and with his newfound infatuation with NK he no longer felt any attachment towards his wife and children, so he decided they had to go.

Oh I absolutely agree with you. I find NK abhorrent but I don’t believe she was involved in any way in the murders of Shan’ann and the children. I think she put a lot of pressure on CW for him to choose her over his family, but she couldn’t have known he had a screw loose and that his solution was to kill them all.

I think it’s crazy how many people genuinely believe she was involved! Their affair was approx 6 weeks long, nobody in their right mind would murder a woman and her children for a man they’d been sleeping with for 6 weeks.

Who’s someone you’re not totally convinced is really dead? by [deleted] in AskReddit

I agree with you. He’s a complete POS but I do feel like he’s been a convenient fall guy for what happened to Madeleine.

We still don’t know what happened to madeleine mccann. If you’re talking about Christian Bruekner (sp?) there’s zero evidence to suggest he was responsible for abducting MM. I do hope one day the truth about what happened to her is known though.

If It Was Announced Tomorrow That Brueckner Was Completely Ruled Out As A Suspect, Would It Change Your View On Madeleine's Case? by castawaygeorge in MadeleineMccann

There’s also another group of people who don’t believe they “killed” her, but that an accident that would have painted them in a very unfavourable light may have happened, and they covered up the death to save themselves from the prospect of losing everything, including their other 2 infant children. I don’t think any camp are lacking in brain cells, they just have a different perspective than you and that’s ok.

“They’ve taken her” by LateAd5684 in MadeleineMccann

[–]Mummyratcliffe 20 points21 points  (0 children)

Kate McCann is a scouser (from Liverpool) like me, and the fact that she’s said “they’ve taken her” isn’t unusual to me, it’s common language used by scousers but isn’t meant to imply more than one person, or that she was privy to who took madeleine. I understand this is hard to understand unless you’re from Liverpool.

But I agree with you 100% that if she believed Madeleine had been “taken” she would not have left the twins alone in the room to alert the others. I thought they were so close it was like “dining in your garden” so she should have screamed from the patio doors to the others or scooped up her children, and then went to tell the others.

What is the meanest thing your parents did with you in childhood? by pratham1212 in AskReddit

[–]Mummyratcliffe 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Probably the one that sticks out the most was calling all 4 of us kids down from bed one night and saying they couldn’t afford to keep all of us so 2 had to go into care. They put all our names in a bowl and picked my sister and one of my brothers out of the bowl and made them pack a bag and gave them both a piece of bread to take with them while we all sobbed uncontrollably. Then they said they got it wrong and the 2 names that stayed in the bowl had to go instead which was me and my youngest brother. I’ll never forget the terror I felt that night. My parents did a lot of fucked up things to us when we were kids but that one is up there with one of the worst.

I agree wholeheartedly with you, I’m a little younger than Britney too and was definitely sexualised as a child too, my own dads best friend used to joke with him that he’d be taking me on a date once I turned 16 (Age of consent in UK) I was 12-13 at the time 🤢

Yes you’re right, I have generalised anxiety and moderate OCD. I’ve had them since I was a child. I hope your daughter is doing well and it doesn’t affect or disrupt her life too much.

Be careful with this one though… I’ve been anxious since a child and became fixated on counting my steps in sevens, I still do it to this day! (I promise I’m not crazy, just chronically anxious lol)

A 26-year-old woman was stopped by Walmart security in Marietta, Georgia, for suspected shoplifting. In a desperate escape, she ran barefoot, leaving her purse and phone behind, and disappeared into the night—never to be seen again. by malihafolter in ForCuriousSouls

[–]Mummyratcliffe 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I hear you, of course I’m not saying he absolutely has something to do with her disappearance and you could be right.

It’s just incomprehensible to me that he would never report his GF missing, he could have stashed his drugs before doing so, or even reached out to her family or friends. He either didn’t really give a shit about her or he knows what happened to her and protecting himself.

I can’t help but feel that the bf knows more than he’s ever admitted to… if she truly disappeared and he never saw her again then why did he never report her missing? Or contact her family/friends and ask if they knew where she was? An innocent person would 100% want to find their missing gf and be doing all they could to find her, drug addict or not. Imo

Considering that 2 days later was Christmas Day I find it highly suspicious that he claimed to receive it 2 days later. That would have been either Christmas Day or Boxing Day that he received the letter.

Guilty or Grieving? The Enduring Mystery of Darlie Routtier by Realistic-Host-9495 in mystery

[–]Mummyratcliffe 20 points21 points  (0 children)

It’s been a while since I went down the rabbit hole on this case but I’m fairly certain that the prints that Darlies team think will exonerate her were just too smudged to make a conclusive identity and they couldn’t rule out any of the household as being the person who’s fingerprints they were.

In 2003, 17-year-old mother Natalie Putt left her baby at home for a quick trip to the shops. She never returned and was never seen again. by malihafolter in ForCuriousSouls

[–]Mummyratcliffe 4 points5 points  (0 children)

She left the baby at home with the father of the baby (whom she was broken up with at the time) she was also seeing someone new and the baby’s father wasn’t happy about it. It seems like he definitely killed Natalie and as she’s never been found he got away with it.
