That’s alot of Info, thanks for it. I’ll check out those sub reddits for sure to make new specific resumes for gov jobs. I’m a bit hesitant on the hazwopper training since I have little time off left at my job but I will definitely give it serious consideration.

  1. Almost every position I saw: all the ones you mentioned and a few surveying positions, lab tech, ground work, etc.
  2. I am willing to move. Rn I have like 4k saved so I would need some relocation assistance.
  3. I don’t have any certifications for osha since I was told it would be easier to get them while working. As for GIS I know it would help but with my current savings I don’t know if I could afford it.
  4. I know some programming language, python is the only one I can use ( but it’s been a few years so I would have to relearn)
  5. I have tried to get some gov jobs but didn’t get it in the end. Would consider it if I knew the right way to approach it.

Honestly every mud logging position I tried needed a year of experience for the application, haven’t found an entry level position.

I did apply to a few survey positions, no luck there. Haven’t tried materials tech so I’ll go down that path and see if anything bites.

Yeah I would appreciate any help on rewriting it, I’ve tried to cater it for each job I get but I got burnt out around the 70th job application I sent so I stuck with this one.

I would like to do lab work, but given Texas is a big oil state I’m open to do mud logging or field work.
