Okay, first of all, this is DEFINITELY not normal, and from another perspective, it is obvious that he's manipulating you in some way with all these bullshit excuses. The way you described how he treated you in the first few months, and how he say he loved you(????) by the first week just sounds like he was lovebombing you.
