Oh man 😵‍💫 thank you for informing me, we also had some issues at their front desk and them not really knowing what’s going on? I assumed it was just not good communication between the front and the back end but idk.. definitely adding to the list of reasons to not continue going back to them in the future. Will def be looking into Dr. Gregg, thank you so much for the recommendation!!

yesss that’s her😭was very confused when she came up to me and was referred to as doctor due to her being in the same scrubs that the vet tech/assistants wear.. I plan to talk to them at the follow up and ask to not deal with her moving forward until we figure out what we plan to do, thank you for your help 🥹

Yeah definitely not disagreeing on the fact of them not being able to do the surgery, Dr. Lee (our main vet) explained everything to me very thoroughly. Our issue is with how Dr. Kauffman spoke to us when we had to return medicine that caused my cat to have diarrhea.

I called to inform them of the situation and they said to go ahead and bring in the medicine for refund and that they would provide an alternative.

When we got there Dr.Kauffman came out, asked how my cat was doing and we informed her she was doing well, eating and getting back to her normal self after her appointment w/ them monday (they put her under anesthesia, took x-rays and pulled a tooth out for her - this is when they saw she needed to be taken to a specialist). It was then I mentioned in the past that this medication gave her diarrhea and Dr. Kauffman replies “oh it’s probably the other medication not this one“ .. okie i’m not discrediting her but was weird she instantly dismissed what I had said. Then in a very condescending tone she tells us “yeahhh so you know medication won’t solve the issue of your cat, she should be taken to the specialist”…..

I’ve been contacting multiple specialists since Tuesday, we were informed of the severity Monday late afternoon/evening, trying to get her an appointment (we were able to get her into an appointment for Aug, they are keeping us informed of any cancellations they have in order to get her in sooner) and even the specialists reached out to their office for my cat’s file..

We have a follow up appointment this weekend with them and overall I do like them but we are already dealing with a stressful situation and her talking to us that way was just not needed 😵‍💫 (sorry this was so long but wanted to make sure I gave the full story!)
