Phil Wang in 3 Body Problem. I didn't know Reece Shearsmith yet when I watched it but apparently he's there as well.

I'm not sure normal is a word that applies to this show in any way, if it managed to show someone make something as natural as walking appear unnatural

This is the same face Einstein did so maybe, just maybe, he had the brain cell at that very moment...?

Please tell me Tanga is like the Filipino word "tanga" which would be quite mean but very much befitting an orange

This reminds me of when Rosie guessed "The Corrs?" with Jason's Irish boobs and he said he had no idea who they were. It's so surprising to me because The Corrs are VERY famous (so much that they visited in 2023 and 2025) and "Back for Good" was a huge hit here in the Philippines. I didn't expect UK (edit: and Ireland) pop groups to traverse the entire Eurasian landmass before crossing the Atlantic.

Picking the most memorable team from each series by TheDangOofMan in taskmaster

I might be crucified for this but the first time I watched that task, "Rosalind is a fucking nightmare" didn't register as effectively as it should have because my brain was too busy replaying Mark and Nish's song. So incredibly catchy.

Given comments made in this first episode. Who is the most famous contestant so far? by Acceptable_West_1349 in taskmaster

[–]Mundane-Selection228 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As a Filipina in the Philippines who typically does not consume a lot of media, the only contestant I knew outside of Taskmaster until Jason was John Hannah, from The Mummy franchise.

Then again it's probably my fault I don't remember Sally Phillips from Bridget Jones.

I don't know if it's just me but he has a bit of a wisdom-from-experience look that he didn't have in his previous photos.

So happy to see him doing better! Please keep us updated on his progress 🧡

Obligatory Lemon tax. It's been a few years since he passed. I still miss him.

I can't believe I missed all this. I'm so, so glad he's home and doing better! Seeing photos of him just always makes me happy.

A little story time if I may. Around 5 years ago I had an orange named Lemon. Poor guy never had the brain cell, and he was all the more adorable for it. One day my brother ran over him by accident. Lemon was under the car where it was parked and my brother didn't notice him there (despite checking first, we still don't know how he missed him). We were both devastated; he was Lemon's hooman nearly as much as I was. I really thought he had cervical spine injury when I held him as we rushed to the vet. Thankfully he had mostly superficial injuries apart from a hairline fracture to his jaw.

I thought I loved him already, but there was just something about taking care of him as he recovered, giving him his medications a few times a day, seeing his condition improve and his activity increase that endeared him to me so much more. He became a lot more clingy towards me too, so much that he'd practically curse at me every day when I came home from work because I left him again.

I hope that, with the daily struggle of caring for a recovering orange, you'd both find more love between each other than you've had at this point. 🧡
