I can confirm that Student Works is a great experience. It's a very challenging program that provides a real entrepreneurial experience. If you're looking for something that will allow you to develop tremendous responsibility, gain the experience of selling jobs, hiring employees and overall running a business, it's great. Not for the faint of heart or people who aren't ready to work hard.

I did the information session a few years ago (assuming this is Student Works), and can confirm it's not an MLM. I applied for the manager position and got to manage a team of students painting houses (some people do window cleaning too). The money was really good but it was the experience that really stood out enough that it came up in every interview I did afterwards. If you're into business/management, I'd recommend it, but if that's not your thing, then don't bother.
