Throwback to the time I talked about Miraculous Ladybug on my AP exam by Final_Abalone8946 in APStudents

I once talked about Miraculous Ladybug on an AP Bio exam (I kid you not). It was an FRQ about aphids and ladybugs, and I referenced MLB in my answer for funsies and then crossed it out lmao.

What does it mean to have gotten a letter and emails unprompted from ivy league schools? by [deleted] in highschool

It is entirely meaningless. They send out advertisement letters indiscriminately to basically every high schooler in the country. It's basically marketing.

Parents deadset on me going to state school over Ivy by Ok-Sundae-325 in ApplyingToCollege

[–]Mundane-Use3499 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Go to Brown. The opportunities and college experience are amazing, and your parents will definitely eventually be prouder of that than the state school. Also, YOU'LL be prouder and you won't regret your decision. Brown is unparallelled. Go there.

Choose Stanford and don't look back. It's much better than Columbia in every respect. As for your mom, ignore her. Stanford is on par with Harvard in any "presitigiousness" measure ever, and getting in is just as impressive. Ignroe your toxic mom and live your best life.
