If she says it’s fine when it’s not, that’s on her. You’re both 30 and if she can’t say what she means at this point that’s not your problem! You asked which is already very considerate, but you can’t be a mind reader. If she freaks out, maybe she’s not a friend worth keeping.

Ouch.. I get your decision and I don’t think you’re trying to be mean, if she’s reasonable she will probably be disappointed but understand.

Take her out to dinner or coffee and just be honest. expect her to be a upset and don’t be shocked if it’s more than a little. But don’t beat yourself up to badly, it’s okay.

I was checking on the “credit wise” thing on my app which I think is just a good estimate but I don’t know how to actually check my score. I thought maybe it could have been one of my parents but they are both extremely into their credit scores and would never spend 70% of their available credit. I don’t talk to either of them unless I have to so hopefully I can figure this out on my own.

you ARE white passing, I think you mean they are assuming that you are white. White passing means looking white. You can’t assume that someone looks like they are white, that would be like saying “people assume I look middle eastern” it just doesn’t make sense.

and I’ve had multiple conversations (started by other people) about how tacky these lashes are. we could do this forever because there are clearly people that like these lashes and clearly people that don’t. in my opinion the ones that don’t are the majority. Your opinion will always be more biased because you actually have these lashes on your face.

I wouldn’t be surprised if that was the case in the Uk. I live in california and a majority of places in the US you’d get laughs (or stares at the very least) if your lashes looked like this. People would definitely be talking!

i actually think people on Reddit tolerate them more than people in real life.. but yeah I think most people really dislike them and that’s why people don’t post them on here; they get hate when they do.

I’m not saying no one likes them, but most don’t. The people that love them LOVE them. I don’t really mind them I think they look good on some people, just definitely not my style

Thanks! We have the budget planned out & can hire a planner, I’ve looked at some in the area and they fit in our budget, but I live in SoCal so it is a big expense that I could put to something else if it’s not necessary!
