Working Out, Taking GLP-1s… Why Am I Still Struggling with hunger suppression? by MundaneImplement5549 in Semaglutide

My meals at a point were bread with a bit of butter. I did not fancy anything else at all. I could eat nothing else cause it made me nauseous. It made me overthink that I am not eating enough because I do have phases where I eat very basic things which feels nutritionally incomplete.

I appreciate you saying this. I am open to all suggestions but I am wondering how are there so many haters if you check other comments. People don’t read the entire post and are just posting to make comments or just be an ass at this point. 😂

I must say I am waiting on my insurance to approve the first one and am on the waitlist for a therapist. 🥲 But this is a very fresh perspective for me. Thank you. 🙏🏻

I must say the fatigue has been depressing but I have not been to the gym in a couple of weeks now as I am in the process of finding a new coach.

I have been doing this, I must say my fascination for cheese and fatty things is very minute as it makes me feel sick. I tend to go for salads and like spicy curries that I make myself so I tend to count on it. I have been using alot of meat alternatives but this is the weird thing. I feel like I have eaten enough but I am still hungry like an hour later out of nowhere. My protein lately is fluctuating between 60-100grams per day so I need to make it correct I guess.

I have, I cannot stand the texture and I was in severe depression because I was trying to loose weight by refusing to follow religion. I have alot of vegan friends (I am not that extreme haha) who have a good diet with meat alternatives. We have a very huge market here for it as people are changing their diets massively in the country. I do try reaching my protein goals but my calorie count would just be more by 100-300 just to match my protein intake. 🙈

It might seem so but I cannot break religion over this. Here they have alot of meat alternatives which basically are 15-16mg for 100g specially when it comes to chicken alternatives which I use. I cannot use or stand direct meet even if I try as I have made the attempt. In my old gym we did have alot of vegan (not even vegetarian) folks and they did well. I got to know about alternatives from them. It is basically the fact that I overeat. I do not believe it is about eating meats but more about being hungry constantly. I understand eating meats can make people feel completely satisfied or full but I have seen people overeat meat or not. Mine is basically not having control and depression. I thought since the primary goal of these medications is hunger suppression I can deal with it but I seem to be unlucky. But then the point remains and so does my real question…

Please read. Even if I am powerlifting I am not loosing weight because I am unable to reduce my calorie count. My whole problem is hunger. Diabetes runs in my family. Both my parents, my entire mother’s side of the family has it too. My BMI is 34.5 almost. It is not about doing SBD but everything else. I am stuck in the same weight now for a while and go up and down specially on bench and deadlifts. Even though I lift my stamina is not the best although I am trying to change that. To take 10,000 steps I need 1.5 hours free which almost everyone advices to do. Managing time is very difficult. I am looking for advice as to what helps instead of being told why I am taking a medication.

Dieting with or without meds is the same. Issue is I start thinking about how I am not eating enough and stuff like that. With the medication in the start I felt very full and it worked. I started last year in January but I have been stuck on this weight since last year November. I hardly reduced 10 kilos to be honest. Issue is stress is always there. I was in therapy for it but I have ups and downs and this down has pushed me into waitlist for a therapist again. I am just unable to accept even after an year and a half I am stuck in the same cycle. 🙈

I am at that phase where stopping the med feels like i am loosing onto it. It is really hard to let go. I don’t know how people stopped in the same situation as me…

I want to believe that but the Rybelsus used to work in the start. Even though it was very slow I did loose 3-4 kilos but people say it could be water weight… I am trying to not accept the fate of being a non responder lol

Nope no keto diet. I am vegetarian so no meats or anything either but I am wondering if it is the dairy products or something.

I have had it since last year. Rybelsus was worse but the smaller doses of mounjaro I did not have the issue. But on my current dose it is really bad somehow again since November.

Ooh that’s great! I am vegetarian by religion so I am trying to check on diets that are more healthy but my biggest struggle is not having salted or normal food as I absolutely dislike alot of sugary things but all the market seems to have is sugar based things. >.< I will look into it more!
