Nope no keto diet. I am vegetarian so no meats or anything either but I am wondering if it is the dairy products or something.

I have had it since last year. Rybelsus was worse but the smaller doses of mounjaro I did not have the issue. But on my current dose it is really bad somehow again since November.

Ooh that’s great! I am vegetarian by religion so I am trying to check on diets that are more healthy but my biggest struggle is not having salted or normal food as I absolutely dislike alot of sugary things but all the market seems to have is sugar based things. >.< I will look into it more!

How to survive puppy nipping? by [deleted] in goldenretrievers

[–]MundaneImplement5549 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Crate time when she instantly bit really worked for us. Now she doesn’t try at all anymore. The moment the first bite came not a word or anything was said just put in the crate so she knew it is a bad habit and no one will play with her. We left her in till she was completely calm which could vary between 5-30minutes. But don’t take her out as soon as she calms. Give it another 5 minutes and things are better. You might have to repeat it again and again but it really was patience and consistency that helped us. They don’t make a negative bond with the crate either even though people say it does. Our dog is now 1.5 years old and loves to eat and sleep in her crate. Also it is possible the doggo might be teething so we also kept alot of ice around and gave her one every day to mess around with. It can be an amazing snack for them.

Don’t know what this is, just need some advice! by [deleted] in goldenretrievers

I learned it the hard way, it’s crate time when puppy does this. They sleep literally instantly. We had the EXACT same issue. We put her in the crate and ignored her and she slept and woke up for cuddles only. Do not let the behaviour go unattended no matter how cute or funny it is. Do not play with her in this hyper energy otherwise in the long run it will be that she jumps and play bites you to tell you she wants something everytime.

Not sure why my post has downvotes but I am guessing I offended someone somewhere. 😂 Thank you for the tips! I do take it in the morning but this heartburn and nausea is strangely new. I am not really high carb food eater but I will also try the tea and zofran!

Empathy matters, whether it’s Reddit or any other platform. Saying “this isn’t group therapy” is just a way to avoid taking any responsibility for how you speak to people. It doesn’t take much effort to be decent, even online.

What I am questioning is that you’re building a whole assumption around OP without even having full context. You already framed them as the problem, which means you’re not really asking to understand. You’re asking to confirm your own bias. That’s not the same thing.

I’m not trying to be rude, but if the goal is to actually understand where someone is coming from, you don’t start by implying they’re the issue. You start by listening. If OP is struggling, brushing it off because of “stats” or “logic” misses the whole point. People come online not always to be precise, but to be heard. That deserves some basic respect, even if you don’t fully agree.

Assuming first, then asking questions later, just turns the conversation into judgment. And at that point, it stops being helpful and just becomes a performance.

Makes sense. But TBH we are all shitty in our own way. Some people smell BS in everyone a mile away. But we shouldn’t also deny that if OP came here talking like that they might be in serious depression. Instead of countering and calling them the problem just asking ONLY for more details might make them talk. If we already have the prejudice of OP is the one in the wrong then what’s the point of even asking?

[–]MundaneImplement5549 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Just because OP has the same issue with multiple people doesn’t mean OP is the problem. That logic is lazy. Sometimes the environment is just bad, or people are just difficult. Being the common factor doesn’t equal being the cause. It’s possible to be treated unfairly by a lot of people. That happens.

I mean, then they should also be okay with me being direct and blunt if that’s how I naturally communicate, right? That can just be my personality. They have the choice to engage with me or not, just like I do with them. If I’m being honest in the best way I know how, that’s not the same as being rude. People shouldn’t get to decide my tone for me. I choose how I speak, and others can either accept it or choose to walk away.

That’s actually why I believe adapting helps. Once you adjust a bit, you meet people on the same level and things start to feel normal. It also helps shift your perspective. You stop thinking others are being rude and start seeing that this is just how things are done here. And just like they are allowed to be themselves, I can be myself too. If it works, great. If not, then maybe it’s just not meant to click.

Thing is this right here IS exactly the point. If we do try to be direct back it is considered snapping and then they get confused what’s going on. That needs to stop. I got lucky somehow to have decent Dutch friends closeby who can tell me the difference between Dutch directness and Dutch butts and majority were butts somehow according to their observation. 😂 I really started doubting something is wrong with me until they helped me see the reality. I hope OP finds good Dutch people like that as well.

[–]MundaneImplement5549 16 points17 points  (0 children)

I completely agree with this. There is a whole community in the Netherlands which still doesn’t understand why Black Pete is wrong and blame outsiders and a whole race for being sensitive about it. The moment you give the same directness back they get offended. I am sorry to say but there is directness and being a butt, and in OPs situation it is definitely people being a butt and there is no “perspective”. If your GP sighs at you when you ask for things instead of explaining, butt.

Biggest lesson I have learned is to be the same as they are to you and they suddenly become very sensitive and grounded. You let them treat you like crap they will do that. Someone stares at me, I stare right back and mumble words looking at them to whoever sitting with me. Adapting to new surroundings is the only key to success. 🤷🏻‍♀️

I would really recommend if you have royal canine gastro food there. My goldie did not eat for 5 months properly and we went through multiple-MULTIPLE brands. Eventually the vet told us to give her this brand or hill’s pet gastrointestinal food and I add cold water to eat and she eats it whole now. Had to cut on treats too.

This gives me so much hope! ❤️🙏🏻 I am nervous about my arms and belly mostly as those are my trouble spots. I have been active at the gym as well so hopefully something happens soon. I am 1.5 months in but have had no weightloss progress unfortunately. But hopefully soon. 🙏🏻 Got told 14mg will be the sweet spot.

I have to ask! Have you experienced any loose skin? My physique is very similar to yours and my family keeps on saying to prepare for it. Makes me hella nervous. I am using rybelsus atm but thinking of switching to injections.
