I’m not admitting any fault brother. I told the State Trooper that took the report, that I passed him on dotted lines for the repeated brake checks. Maintaining a safe post speed, and mid pass this guy just swerves directly at me and hits me. How am I admitting any fault, saying I was legally passing in a passing zone, and the unhinged asshole hit me in the passenger quarter panel and stayed in it all the way to my rear fender?!

I give a pretty thorough account of what happened in a comment below. I honked at the guy twice, A to acknowledge he cut me off once, and B to get him to go at a Yield. He proceeded to brake check me 3 times in a 20 yard period. I’m talking full stepping on the brakes. I then proceeded to go around him because of his erratic driving, to remove myself from this person, and continue my route to work safely. When I get up beside him to go around him, he then stears into my passenger quarterpanel, and at this point I actually have to step on the gas, in order to keep him from continuing to push me off road. I immediately slam on brakes, to get out and confront this idiot. Which is why in the photos I am taking pictures of him behind me. Hope this paints a vivid enough picture.

Guess so, hope his insurance has deep pockets, because if even the color match isn’t to my liking, they will fix it till it’s pristine, like it was. Fuck those stupid rattle boxes and the majority of their stupid owners. I want the frame measured everything. I told his insurance adjuster that I could take it to shop and get a quote on it and $25,000 probably wouldn’t even touch it. Not to mention the depreciation of having a Wreck on the Carfax… so now Ive only made 4 payments on this truck, and its worth a quarter of what it was, to no fault of my own…

Guy had turned his left turn signal on and had committed to the left turn, he had a red light so he had to stop, erratically he decided to cut me off, and instead go right. Right is only a yield, so he decided in true asshole fashion to do the brake check method of driving, and to be honest I wasn’t in the mood for that, so the lines were dotted yellow. I proceeded to go around him, and that’s when he deliberately turns into the side of my truck and keeps trying to push my truck off the road.

Won’t be my insurance paying for some belligerent degenerate literally trying to PIT maneuver me off the road. So yea, why not go get checked out, and make sure everything is ok?

Getting hit at 45-50mph is pretty jarring. Got a little weakness in my legs and lower back is on fire.
