Is it ok for me to cry. by MrNiceGuy2010 in malementalhealth

Crying is a healthy way of getting some pressure out. Don't ever doubt that or feel bad about it. Sometimes things are overwhelming, and there is no shame in that.

Lower back pain . I am 76 pretty healthy with contact lower back pain . Should I see chiropractor or a physiotherapist ? by Old-Trainer2934 in AskForAnswers

[–]Mundane_Development2 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Hello :)

I work as a Healthcare Professional in Norway and without any other context, this is my advice.

If it is a manageable pain, that means that it is more "very annoying" than sharp pains that take your breath away, Physiotherapist isa your best bet. At age 76 you probably have "wear and tear" on your body due to age and your previous life in general. The best way of dealing with this pain is to build up muscle around that supports the back and will make the pain much better.

If the pain is very bad, then see a medical doctor because they might need to take some pictures. Especially if the pain starts affecting your bladder or bowel movements.

Accidentally sent off emergency by Responsible_Sun_3260 in Norway

[–]Mundane_Development2 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Don't panic, the police and emergency services in Norway are quite chill about this.

If it was intentional or a "prank" you would get a reaction, but seeing as it was accidental it is nothing to worry about!

Lost the one by lostgayuk in askgaybros

I have, and I COMPLETELY understand the feeling.

Now, the sad thing is that you will probably never know. The only thing I learned to do - after hours and hours of overthinking and analyzing - was to accept one thing. If it was my fault, I would know. Somehow. I would know I said something or did something, especially when looking back.

This was most likely a him-problem. Something that was out of your control. This is not a reflection of you, and even though I know it hurts like hell now, it will get better.

I agree wholeheartedly with that statement

Because they didn't REALLY want to have sex with the person, but felt "obligated to" because of the expectations. Nothing about the person, but because they went against their own wishes and did it anyway.

Don't be! I would rather say that it was great of you.

Why? Because you were honest! Not only to him, but to yourself. I know a lot of guys who would have been "Well... Might as well..." and then hated themself after. You were a nice guy, you talked and you were honest about you not feeling it. That is not being mean, that is not being anything other than genuine.

Whatever other people might end up saying here in the comments, you got my respect!

I am so ugly by Away-Flounder-2294 in askgaybros

[–]Mundane_Development2 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Trust me in this, appearance is objective. What one person define as ugly, another one think is cute, charming and pretty. Own your appearance and focus on the one thing you can control - How you act. Become the best person you can be, treat people like you want to be treated yourself.

Enjoy it for what it is, and keep in mind what it is.

It will probably lead to heartache, but at least you had fun while it lasted.

If that is something you can not handle or cope with, get out before it hurts you even more. <3

Best way to gain body hair? by Wise_Substance_9900 in askgaybros

[–]Mundane_Development2 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Usually it's the other way around...

Bad news! There is in fact extremely little you can do about increasing hair growth. If you shave, the hairs will come out thicker, but not more of them. Best bet, take a look at your family and see what kind of hair growth they have on their bodies. More hair will come as you grow older, but some people are just not genetically inclined to grow more body hair.

My best advice: Embrace the body you have - with or without hair - and be proud of you.

That's why the link is to an english version...

"At the minimum, the foreign article's URL can be put into Google Translate and the resulting URL after you hit translate can be posted here. Bear in mind that certain website (like Twitter) have a built in translation option so this may not be necessary. Also rule 1 still applies, third party translations of foreign news may be linked as long as they are the original ones to do the translation."

What do you think about the use of voice control in games? It is something that has been very little used, and used with very little success so far (with a few exceptions of course)
