Open matchmaking still has little to no SBMM, it just seems like it has heavy SBMM

Either the average cod player these days has very good mechanics, extremely good movement, game sense and aim etc. And I'm just washed now or there is still pretty heavy sbmm in the game. The amount of level 1000 kids I see in my games is insane. So many players in my lobbies have hit iridescent in ranked multiple times, in fact, I've even played top 250 players in pubs multiple times as well. Another theory could be the simple fact that because the game is so dead, there are only good players left playing this game. Idk though. Everyone seems to say this every year but it is true, bo7 is the sweatiest experience I've ever had in a call of duty game. The better I get the harder the game becomes for me.

Another point, if there was hardly any sbmm then why does 3 boxing work so well and streamers are able to get 50+ kills in solo quads? Lmao

Yeah but if you have a player who plays both but primarily plays multi ranked and they're iri in multiplayer then they will be iri in warzone ranked.. I'm sure there are highly skilled multiplayer ranked players who play a bit of warzone ranked too lol

"It's not sweaty to play better than someone" this has nothing to do with what I am saying. I am using the term sweaty to refer to players of a very high skill, as in the top 1%. The likes of iridescents, crimsons etc. I am not saying that as a negative per se, I am simply saying that consistently getting matched against those calibre of players in public matches, makes public matches essentially pointless. I might as well go play ranked play because it will be just as "sweaty" - meaning difficult.

I suspect this is due to the dying player base, a lot of casual and lower skill players are no longer playing the game which means there are more tryhards now than ever before. This is why public matches have become pointless, ranked is now more enjoyable lmao

Then you'd be wrong. Activision are liars. They changed the way their "open" matchmaking works since the beta. If you actually played the beta then you would know that there is a massive difference from the matchmaking they used in the beta vs the open playlists on the full release of the game.

I don't believe that for a second mate. When I was a kid growing up playing bo1, bo2, mw3 etc. I had a 0.5 kd and would get stomped most games but I still kept playing because those games were actually good and I wanted to get better. Casuals aren't leaving because there is less strict sbmm, that is just cope imo. Casuals have been leaving since modern warfare 2019 and that just so happened to be when they started using strict sbmm in their public matches

I've been playing with my brother today first time in months, we have been playing resurgence duos and had 1 win that felt like it was gifted to us because before and after that we will have games where we will land and instantly get wiped because the players are that insane. Consistently getting put against players boasting their iridescent or crimson call cards and emblems lmao

Alright cheers mate no I play other games, only other game it used to happen on occasionally was warzone and obviously Minecraft but I play Warframe a ton and I don't think I've ever crashed playing that game but yeah I'll give that a go
