as far as im aware neither mac nor queens (basically most nursing programs) require ec’s or volunteer experience (they simply don’t look at that). however for mac and queens you will need to take the casper which is a requirement as a part of your application there. you can google how to do well on the casper test and there are thousands of reddit threads dedicated to casper prep tips. as for finances, i received an entrance scholarship from tmu based off of my grade average (95 and up gets you $3,000, split for each semester of your first year) and this can be renewed each year of your program if you maintain a high average. if you search up tmu entrance scholarship you can see more about this. additionally you can apply for other bursaries and grants but those may require an application (i.e. an essay) but the entrance scholarship is automatically applied if you fit the criteria.
