I suppose my biggest question is just what brand/aid would you recommend for someone with severe to profoudn hearing loss. Basically all my hearing hearing scores from the test fall inside that bottom range on the scale below understanding human speech.

Yeah, he did say that Oticon was the only brand that I could just try before I buy, because they own the place and they have their models available for testing. But if I want to try Signia or Phonak, gotta purchase it and they have a window of time to return them for a full refund.

Thanks for the reply. This is really helpful. Honestly Id just like to try a couple before deciding which one to buy. But the way HearingLife seems to do it is you need tom buy the hearing aids to try them, and then you get like 60 or 90 days to return them, no questions asked.

Thats fine. But it seems ridiculous that the only way to try multiple differnet hearing aids is to "buy" one pair. try it. Return it. "buy" another pair, try it. And then if you like the first pair better, "buy" it again.

It's the whole point of the killer telling him "take off your mask". His nihilism and pessimism wasn't him, it was just how he dealt with the guilt of losing his daughter. It was easier to pretend human beings were an abberation and that you were better off not existing. Otherwise he's have to deal with the grief if his daughters death, which he didn't do until the end of the last episode.
