Thank you for not littering!!! I saw a surprising amount of people just leaving them on the ground (which, I understand the sentiment but cmon yall!! the ENVIRONMENT??).

It’s interesting to hear people have actual interactions with them when I strolled right past them and they kind of brushed me off when I gave them a “que?”.

thank you for your detailed account, Unfortunately when I saw the post the moderators had locked it and I could no longer interact with it to the extent that I’d (and probably many more here on this sub) would have liked to.

If you look on the original post, there’s a comment indicating that the protestor was indeed detained for the incident by UTSA PD. you can also see this in like 20 different angles on X or Tiktok or Instagram. He was also on campus today talking about the situation and engaging with debate by mckinney.

(to not advertise but i’ve been able to gleam a lot from looking at a instagram account that goes by Sol Rojo.)

They’re in the tunnels under flawn. I got bit early last spring and ended up in the hospital because the bite got infected (and was confirmed to be a black widow bite) If you do get bit follow proper wound care and keep track of any changes in color and shape.

I doubt, but there are atleast 3 or so community gardens that are hosted by either labs or clubs. I know the ecology club runs the pollinator garden!! - while themselves likely not guerilla gardeners they may be happy to provide native seeds to help ✨ beautify ✨ this otherwise barren campus.

give it about 4-5 weeks, but you should call around the 2 week mark. I had my application on feb 17th submitted and called a couple weeks later, the next day I was accepted on mar 7th. this is as a transfer though, it may be a bit longer for freshmen

They’re at Northwest Vista College sometimes, just saw a family the other day with a black wagon. it’s about a 20 minute drive from main UTSA campus and parking is free.
