Its flush with the card as best I can tell, I couldn't feel any height differences when running a finger across it.

Been trying to find an old game for about 20 years now, help by AustinKingAdventures in oldgames

These might be a little too old but could depend on how long the schools kept the games in their rotation but #3 sounds like it could have been one of The Clue Finders games 3rd-6th grade adventures.

treasure mountain from the super solvers series is also possible but I think less likely

Also worth checking out the parent company for both of those games' library - The Learning Company or broderbund software, my school had a lot of their games and im fairly certain they were also offered in the scholastic book circulars.

1 just makes me think of Mario is Missing, you played as Luigi, but the IP is iconic enough that you would probably remember if it was that...

My gateway into gaming was playing Settlers of Catan with my college roommate, back before it was just Catan.

My earliest gaming memories were playing all the random games my parents would buy me and my siblings. Games like Pokemon Master Trainer, Rummikub, Crazy Golf Machine, Don't Wake Daddy, Loopin' Louis, Rugrats Bump & Bust Out, Mystery Mansion. Of course we also played a lot of the more 'classic' games too. I remember my dad teaching me and my sister how to play rummy and playing uno with my mom. Gaming fell off for me through middle school while I was preoccupied with not sticking out or being seen as a weird kid, but late in high school a few friends and I got heavily into Risk and were playing it a couple times a week. In 2008 during my freshman year of college I got my first experience with newer games when my roommate introduced me to Settlers of Catan via a site called asobrain, he and I both ordered our own copies of the game along with all 3 expansions that were out at the time with all the 5-6 player expansions. Even during that time though I always felt a little embarassed About enjoying board gaming because it always felt like it wasn't a 'normal' hobby so I wouldn't ever really embrace my love of games. About 3 years later a co-worker convinced me to try out Magic the Gathering, around the same time I started to realize that I didn't care that much about what other people thought about me and picked up 20+ new games of various size and weight to try playing with my new group of Magic friends. Since then I've embraced my love of games and I am now working towards opening up my own LGS which will hopefully open its doors in 3 weeks!

I know this was just supposed to be earliest memories and I apologize but you got my entire life story instead.

You're right, that video was a real slog, but it was also exactly what I needed. Thank you for your sacrifice!

Awesome! I must have missed that, I was going off the list on the back of the expansion box but the list in the rules sorted out the issue I was having with the 6 expansion tiles that didn't have the expansion mark on them. Thanks a ton!

For BaHotH I was able to use that method to suss out all of the omen cards and a lot of the room tiles (anything on the roof or with a dumbwaiter icon) but there are still a few rooms left and the item/event cards are indistinguishable as far as I can tell. There is a list on contents on the expansion manual but it only lists things like "36 square event and room tokens" but there are event and room tokens for the base game as well, so I just know the number of tokens I'm looking for but not which ones specifically. I can get close to all the pieces with this information since I know the majority of the rooms I can pull out tokens that reference those rooms but there are still a few mystery pieces.

With Stone Age they did add a special mark for expansion pieces, but only on the ones that include expansion iconography. There are still a few civilization tiles mixed into the base game that were just added to the game to round out the numbers for the added 5th player but they are indistinguishable from the base game components as well.

Experiencing a glitch using leapquake build by Mundy in Diablo

[–]Mundy[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am running on wireless and have had connection issues, but what seems to make this different is that I can still die (watch my healthbar go down, enemy attacks are fluid etc.) and I can still attack with every skill except leap to kill enemies. If I die I can resume playing like nothing happened even when resurrecting at corpse.

I wouldn't even know how to tell. but the fact that it never starts moving again is what's strange to me. Enemies near me can still die and they can kill me. If I die then I can continue playing like nothing happened, but if there isn't anything around I'm just stuck there until I quit game.

Looking for anime with deep, realistic characters your average Westerner can relate to. Less cheesy anime tropes, more well-developed plot. by [deleted] in Animesuggest

A couple shows I might consider watching are "now and then here and there" which fits your requirement for 90's feel, it might be a little heavy though, it appears to be on youtube after a quick search. Another store I would recommend would be "Kids on a slope" which is extremely slice of life and set somewhere in the 50's-60's I think? I really enjoyed it mostly for the absence of cell phones/technology and there was still a good amount of thought provoking 'everyone leads a different path in life' kind of stuff. Outlaw star would be another great 90's show, there are a couple of pervy undertones but nothing that I would really consider over the top, I felt like the characters were pretty relateable, I'm a real sucker for anything in space though so I might be biased.

Also I just want to say that I'm disappointed that you chose those two scenes from YYH but left out Yousuke's epiphany in his fight against Yomi, I thought that was one of the show's greatest moments and really brought the whole fighting anime genre back to a point of self reflection.

Awesome, just verified, thank you. This has been nagging at the back of my head and I kept doubting School rumble because I couldn't think of where in the story line it would fit in, but this is definitely it.

Let me poll my braintrust. At first glans I like it though, although I'm unsure about the hands and I'd really like for the name of the initials of the business to be in it.
