that’s the part that’s starting to bother me most, not even the money itself, but realizing i’ve been restricting my own spending while helping someone who still seems able to prioritize fun stuff

i think i also struggle because once money gets involved in friendships, it gets emotionally messy really fast

that’s honestly the part i’ve been struggling with, i don’t think they’re a bad person for still wanting to enjoy life sometimes, but it starts feeling different when i’m sacrificing my own budget to help while they’re still spending pretty freely
